Will Rogers once said, "Real estate is the best investment in the world because it is the only thing they're not making anymore."

Real estate investment has been proven the safest investment in the world since it cannot be lost, stolen, or carried away. It provides the highest returns, outstanding values, and risk lower than any other investments. It is an imperishable asset, ever increasing in value. However, with a background, entering the real estate market might be more manageable. Even though it doesn't require as much formal education as other careers, we still need particular learnings to thrive in this field.

The world is currently seeing the highest pace of inflation in decades. Thus, saving your hard-earned income in a bank can be riskier than investing it and making your money work for you. We must be educated and learn as much as possible to purchase with common sense, diversify our assets, earn passive income, hedge against inflation, and manage with reasonable care.

Dr. Ronnie Shalev is a mother, wife, physician, serial entrepreneur, real estate owner, founder, and co-owner of Sherwin Properties. She is a board-certified ER doctor whose demanding career has sapped all of her energy, leaving her exhausted, burned out, and unable to enjoy her family, children, and daily life. Because she made great money, she felt bound by the "golden handcuffs" and saw no end. Through passive real estate investing, she was able to quit her grueling emergency room job and move into a less-demanding role at a medical device company. Dr. Ronnie is now assisting people in generating passive income so that they may spend their time as they like and no longer feel constrained by their jobs.

In this special episode with Dr. Ronnie Shalev, we'll learn more about real estate investing and how we can earn passive income through apartment investing. She seeks to help professionals be free to do what they want with their time and not be held captive by their jobs because she's been there, and she understands how exhausting it can be.

"They somehow brainwash us and say, we're doctors, and we only take care of patients, we don't know the business, so we shouldn't be worrying about it." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

Key Takeaways:

"Getting into real estate can be a daunting task when you have zero knowledge." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"Today, we are experiencing the highest inflation in decades. So right now, if you're a saver, you're doing something riskier than putting it into an investment." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"Apartments are a great hedge against inflation." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"It's interesting how commercial investment that was considered safe 10-15 years ago is not safe anymore." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"You don't have to have a lot of money to start investing in real estate, but you have to have 50 to a hundred thousand dollars to get access to institutional size deals." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"It doesn't mean that your property is not worth anything, but depreciation is something that allows you to take away from your W2 income or for the gains that you might have made when you sold a property." – Dr. Derrick Burgess

"Most people don't have degrees in real estate investing. It's not like in the medical field, where we are educated and learning how to do things with formal education. It requires a different type of education." – Dr. Ronnie Shalev

"People think when you invest passively, you can bring your money, but it doesn't mean you don't have to do any work or research. It would help if you still were researching the properties that you're investing in." – Dr. Derrick Burgess

"There are scary times that we're going through now from a financial standpoint, but there are no signs that it's going to get better because it's going to get worse before it gets better." – Dr. Derrick Burgess

Saving money is a great habit, but without investing, it just sleeps. We help busy professionals passively invest in apartments and earn passive income so they can claim back their time.
