David Cay Johnston is a Pulitzer Prize winning investigative reporter and best selling author, who has caused two presidents to change their tax policies, Congress to act a number of laws, shut down so many sham tax dodges that he's been called the "de facto, chief tax enforcement officer of the United States," solved multiple murder cases, exposed spies and foreign agents, revealed corruption of the three largest United ways, and is covered Donald Trump for more than 35 years, breaking many of the biggest stories about his persistent misconduct.
He is not a lawyer, but his taught law at Syracuse University College of Law since 2009.
He is a former president of the 6,000 member Investigative Reporters & Editors and his lectured on Journalism, the law, taxes, and Donald Trump on every continent except Antarctica.
