Jenai Auman (pronounced jih-nEYE Ah-mun) is a Filipina American writer & artist in living in Houston, TX who writes on hope and faith for outcasts & misfits. Her work currently focuses on the woes of spiritual abuse and religious trauma in the church.
Her recent writing and drawing on Advent for those who find themselves trying to make sense of a Western church riddled with abuse of power in its various forms, brings her to the podcast this week to share how her own journey has led her to walk alongside others in the sense-making of this moment in church history.
