I have always been around Creatives, but never felt I had the talent to create outside of my forte for writing. But Art truly comes in many forms, as it is simply an expression of our waking experience, where you can express how life comes ALIVE in physical form, as is the case for today’s guest, Alyssa Bird! 

I was honored to be introduced to Alyssa about a year ago through a previous guest on the pod, and dear friend, Kimberly Kling, Herbalist + Owner of Joyful Roots (Episode 18), and I’m honored to share her wisdom behind the Artistry with her “Pictopowers” combined! About Alyssa:

Alyssa Bird spent 3 years in the Los Angeles fashion industry and saw a desperate need to reduce the waste from clothing production. Her innovation, mission for upcycling, and love for learning reached a turning point when she developed a new mixed-media art concept by merging the rescued textiles with laser cut wood. Her 1st business, Regenerous Designs, unique upcycled fashion accessories, eventually lead into her new business, Picto Kits, which is an elevated hands-on experience of art and education that requires no previous training and delivers a playful adventure inspiring individuals of all ages.
