💳 Limited-Time Welcome Offer: 100k Bonus Points

If you've been contemplating adding a travel credit card to your wallet, now might be the perfect time to get the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card because of the limited-time welcome offer of 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months.

Each Chase Ultimate Rewards® point is worth 1.25¢ when you book travel through Chase Travel℠, which means this bonus is worth at least $1,250. However, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card allows you to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to 14 different airline and hotel partners, which could offer a much higher redemption value and is my favorite way to maximize my points.

This card is one of my top choices because of the reasonable $95 annual fee and the travel perks like the $50 annual Chase Travel℠ hotel credit, rental car insurance, trip cancellation/interruption insurance, trip delay reimbursement, lost luggage insurance, and more.

✈️ Up to 30% Off Paid & Award Southwest Flights

Southwest is offering up to 30% off both paid and award flights with promo code TAKE30. Book by 4/7 for travel dates on U.S. flights (4/22–8/27), international/Hawaii/Puerto Rico (8/17–10/3), and inter-island Hawaii (4/22–6/3), with a 21-day advance purchase required.

💰Targeted Offer to Redeem Points for 2.25¢/pt

Doctor of Credit is reporting that some cardholders of two very popular travel cards are seeing an elevated redemption opportunities in the travel portal to get 2.25¢ per point. Sadly I wasn't targeted for this offer, but if I was, I'd have used it to book all our summer travel.

You can earn an extra 777 points per night at many of Hyatt's casino hotels if you register here and stay from 4/10 to 6/9. There are 20 eligible properties around the world, including the Venetian, Palazzo and Rio in Las Vegas.

As always, I wouldn't recommend taking advantage of these if you don't have a trip in mind. Here’s a list of historical transfer bonuses, so you can get a good sense of what to expect in the future.

🚗 Earn Free National Car Rental Days

Earn free rental days after a minimum of two rentals for two consecutive days or more through National Car Rental’s "One Two Free" promo. Rentals must be between 4/1 and 6/22, and registration is required.

💳 Lyft & Peloton Perks on Credit Cards Extended

Chase has extended its partnerships with Lyft and Peloton through December 2027, allowing cardholders to continue earning bonus points. The earning rate for Lyft has decreased to 5x, but a $10/mo credit was added. For Peloton, you can still earn up to 10 points per $1 spent.

We actually just used the Peloton offer to get 10 points and stacked it with this $100 off from their Hyatt partnership AND 12% back from Kudos (← my referral link for a free $20). When you combine all that, it was an effective 30% off!

💪 Strategies for Improving Longevity for Seniors

I'm a big fan of Peter Attia’s podcast, but sometimes it goes too deep/long to share with my family. So I really enjoyed this shorter episode where he focused his longevity advice for seniors.
