This is a wonderfully researched and organized podcast. The ads however are many and awkwardly placed within the episode.

Getting better with each episode

Tom’s cadence and delivery has proven to be quite exceptional and delivering find detailed accounts of various times of history during the Anglo-Saxon. Period well on certain topics he uses a wide brush, for the most part he uses a finer brush to help flesh out details

Very enjoyable

Just love this period of British history, not quite sure why I feel this way, but it’s a fascinating time to me. Very nicely presented. I’ve only listened to one episode, and look forward to many more. I appreciate the effort put into this podcast. Thank you!

Engaging and beautifully done

This is a podcast for those who want detailed history in chunks of time that are easy to swallow and contemplate. I find a shorter time commitment is perfect. It allows you to really think about the particular topic he is educating us about without getting lost in the weeds too much.

Very Worthwhile!

As an American Anglophile, I have long relished both "The British History Podcast" and "The History of England Podcast." Recently, David Crowther, the brilliant host of the latter, recommended this podcast, and I am so glad he did. "Anglo-Saxon England" is clear, detailed, and enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Beautifully presented and well researched
