Why the name Té Tārā?
The first word means “tea” in some languages, including Spanish. A version of the word also means the power of a person (or thing) in harmony with the Tao.
The second word is for the deity Tārā. She is the goddess of compassion and helps people to overcome personal difficulties. Her name is derived from the Sanskrit word for “to cross” as she helps humans cross safely from the day of their birth to their last. She is also revered as a meditation deity.
