About Ava:
Ava Michelle, is an actress, dancer and singer/songwriter. Starting her career at age 10, she has made appearances on lifetimes hit reality show "Dance Moms". Ava has also appeared on “So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation”, where she spoke very honestly about the effects of social media, bullying and her personal struggles. Standing proud at 6'1" , Ava is most known for her lead role in the Netflix movie, “Tall Girl”, and the sequel “Tall Girl 2”. Coming of age films that address the hardships of embracing your differences, learning to love and accept yourself. Ava is also, a singer/songwriter, with both of her songs “Stand Tall” and “Be Who You Are” featured in the films. With all of that, she is making a point to share her past experiences and her passion for finding self-love, to help better impact her generation. After her brother Devon suddenly passed from accidental fentanyl poisoning in 2021, she has also made it her mission to spread awareness and education on this rapidly growing issue. She started Identified Clothing, a brand inspired by her brother. A portion of the proceeds from Identified go to the Devon Michael Foundation, a family non-profit started by Ava and her mom, Jeanette. With Ava gaining quite a following, she is making it her mission to make a positive impact on this world and using her platform to do so.
