Adrienne A. White is the VP of Strategy/Business Development at Citizens Trust Bank. Previously, she was the VP of Finance of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Prior to The Center, she worked at The Coca-Cola Company. She started the first four years of career at Ernst & Young LLP’s (EY) external audit services.
Adrienne is a board member of the Atlanta Track Club, the nation’s 2nd largest track club. She’s served on the marketing committee and currently serves as diversity committee chair. Her term ends in December 2019. In April 2011, Adrienne was one of three leaders who launched the Atlanta chapter of Black Girls Run!, a national organization aimed at promoting an active lifestyle among African-American women through participation in running events. She also served as BGR! South Region Ambassador supporting 40 ambassadors across Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi in their efforts to support, encourage and activate over 25,000 members.
Before starting her running career, Adrienne was raped, fell into a depression and gained weight. Adrienne's belief in God and the creation of her 30 before 30 bucket list, helped to pull her out of her depression. Adrienne is an accomplished professional and an influential voice in Atlanta politics, who knows she may be running for office someday.
Oh yeah I haven't mentioned my Ko-fi page. The launching of my Ko-fi page is me embracing my talents, this is me walking in my purpose, this is me taking the leap, acknowledging that what I'm doing is providing a valuable service for the audience, the guest and the sponsors. BTW Podcast is a business.
I took the leap 4years ago to drive for Uber/Lyft Full-time, so I could have the flexibility to devote to building BTW Podcast. Ko-fi is platform that will allow entrepreneurs/business owners to sponsor an episode PRE, MID or POST roll, it also allows you to buy me a cup of coffee.
Thanks for accompanying my on this ride. Leave a voicemail to let us know how we’re doing and receive a shout out in a future episode.
