Dave Ross Founder of RossRunning

Dave Ross is a fellow running shoe geek, he’s originally from Lewiston, Idaho now residing in Beaverton, Oregon. Dave said “I love living in Beaverton and living so close to Nike WHQ and all that it entails. This place is heaven for runners.” Dave started his running career at a young age and now he serves as a coach covers all the major track and field events providing feedback for the TV commentators. He works down on the track and feed them information during the distance races. I tell them who is leading, who is moving up, what pace the racers are on and any other relevant information. I've helped with coverage for NBC, ESPN, Pac 12 Network and others.

Dave also does pre and post race interviews at major running events around the world. In addition to the last two track trials I've also done media coverage at the last two Olympic marathon trials, several NCAA Track and Field Championships, The Prefontaine Classic and others. I helped to cover the Paris Diamond League meet last summer and the INEOS 1:59 Challenge last fall in Vienna.

Back in 2019 was involved in an accident that left him pretty banged he’s bounced back nicely, during this interview we talk about his road to recovery, Kicks and what it was like meeting the GOAT Eliud Kipchoge.

Dave started the RossRunning Facebook page , it started out as an online coaching page, but has evolved into something completely different. It's now a running history page that also talks about current news in the sport.It's grown by over 200% in the last year and currently has almost 10,000 followers. Dave said “I’ve gotten to meet and become friends with a lot of pro runners in the sport and it's been a lot of fun doing what I love.”
