Morning Routine

Have you ever had one of those days where you felt like you wanted to get back in bed and start over?  Some mornings I roll over while still in bed and check my social media feed before actually getting up to starting the day-this is not the best practice-I'll be the first to admit I'm not perfect. There are some mornings when I'm outraged by what I see online and that causes me to jump up and start the the day.  The inconsistency is not good and the beautiful thing about us as humans is we can change.

Growing up, Norman spent most of his time listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, and many other jazz greats. Since graduating from Berkeley College (NY), Norman has traveled extensively throughout the United States, and abroad spreading the Gospel through song.

At a young age, Norman was a featured artist for four years with The First Church of God National Convention, appearing with Anita Baker and the Winans as a background vocalist, and Opening performer. Norman has had the privilege of sharing the stage, opening up for, and singing background for amazing artists like Coko (of SWV), Pastor Shirley Caesar, Donald Lawrence, Ricky Dillard, John P Kee, Angie Stone, Kelly Price, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Faith Evans, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, Cece Winans, Yolanda Adams, Melonie Daniels, Lucinda Moore and Mary Mary. He was also featured on Bobby Jones New Artist Showcase. Norman is the recipient of the Connecticut Gospel Music Award 6 years consecutively for Best Male Vocalist, Connecticut HBV Music Award 5 years consecutively. Norman has a CD available on www.iTunes.com/NORMANTHOMAS “SCRIPTURES Chapters 1-7” All the songs featured on the album were written and arranged by Norman Thomas. Norman is currently preparing for his first Live Recording.

Norman is not only a gifted and talented Singer / Songwriter, he has a heart for other young and upcoming artists. He is currently working on touring his “Free Concert” series that will offer new artists the chance to be showcased live on the internet.
