The Shell Gas Price Saga

On July 12, 2016, pulled into a Shell gas station in Stamford CT. to fill up without checking the price, I figured it would .05¢ north or south of what I normally pay-I was wrong.  It trigged a string of events on Facebook and even severed a few relationships.  Through the entire fiasco I was never able to speak with the manager, I recently became with obsessed with solving the case.  Along the way I found myself down a rabbit hole Carrie Whitney, Phd wrote a piece entitled "Why Gasoline Prices Vary From Station to Station" I was curious to see what the gas prices were around the country what I discovered was surprising.  Yolanda Rose-(a facebook friend) shared a useful app that searches for the best prices and saves you money, "GetUpside."
