Why Did Bob Woodward Wait To Drop His Bombshell?

Book publishing is a business, his publishers obviously did the math and figured out they'd get the most bang for their buck leading up to the election.  IMHO releasing the information earlier wouldn't have made a difference, this administration would've have done what their doing now downplaying the revelation.  The mainstream media gallops around town on their high horses as if they've got a lock on information and journalistic integrity, meanwhile they don't call Trump on his racist BS during the press conferences, they let him off with softball questions and don't support each other in getting to the heart of the matter for the American public.  Yet we're supposed to believe they have our best interest at heart.  No!  It's all about sound bites first for their respective stations
