S3 E25 | Of Thrones & Thieves & Representation | A Southern Dialogue with Jaelynn Hart

Jaelynn Hart is working on publishing her first novel, Of Thrones and Thieves, and we chat about the main character Princess Elara in this episode. Her sign is Aquarius, and Jaelynn tells us whether Elara fits the personality of an Aquarian or not! We also talk about representation, and what it means for the LGBTQ+ community - especially youth, who don't always find characters they can relate to in mainstream media. Y'all pull up your brooms and join us!

Author

Jaelynn Hart is a young author who is working on publishing her first novel, Of Thrones and Thieves. She graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor's in Creative Writing. When she is not writing, she can be found creating art in other ways, such as on a canvas or through digital art.

Of Thrones and Thieves is a lesbian adventure/fantasy novel following Princess Elara as she's kidnapped on the day of her coronation. She is whisked away from her home and everything she knows, taken aboard a ship of pirates hired to kidnap her by a mysterious third party. Elara is unwilling to admit defeat, however, and will do whatever she can to escape her captors, even if it means battling the pirate captain, Kai, herself. As tensions rise, Elara finds herself drawn to the sudden, surprising freedom she’s been granted as a prisoner.
