Mr
Paul King has walked the winding path of entrepreneurship, braved the storms of startups, and emerged with stories to inspire and lessons to share.
At 28, he found himself in the heart of LA, flipping pizzas by day and rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's elite as an extra in films by night. But life's journey had more twists in store for me. Returning to Australia, he traded pizza paddles for holistic healing, practicing homeopathy while moonlighting as a taxi driver to put food on the table for his family. There are tales from those taxi rides that could fill volumes—He's seen it all!
But his journey didn't stop there. Transitioning into education, he became an IT teacher at TAFE, leading social media initiatives, and later diving headfirst into videography, capturing the essence of educators and innovators through his lens.
Then came the pivotal moment in 2017 when he strapped on a VR headset and felt the world shift. That experience birthed YesVR, a testament to his insatiable curiosity and hunger for innovation.
Before his podcasting days, he honed his communication skills on the airwaves of a community radio show, where he spent eight years sparking conversations and delving into topics that stirred minds and hearts alike. And now, armed with a treasure trove of experiences and a genuine passion for meaningful dialogue, he's ready to share his journey.
His journey isn't just about the highs and lows of startups—it's about the resilience, the creativity, and the unwavering belief in the power of human connection.
