We always have a choice. They determine our survival. As an Auschwitz survivor, Edith Eva Eger, author of The Choice: Embrace the Possible, tells us that everyone still has a choice even when imprisoned in that horrendous death factory. When facing fear and hopelessness, you can choose to give up and live like a zombie, or to hope and persevere to give your life a different meaning.
Ms. Edith Eva Eger is an Auschwitz survivor. She was just 16 years old when she ended up in the concentration camp. Later, she became a Doctor of Psychology. As a clinical psychologist, she made and developed her Choice Therapy, which has helped many people regain control over their lives. Edith also serves as a consultant for the US Army and Navy in resiliency training and PTSD treatment. She often works as a motivational speaker in the United States and around the world.
