Yes, folks, me, gray haired Dave here.
How are you?
Hey.
I've taken a couple weeks off to try and re regroup here and re energize and I have also decided to find some new content for you and it's going to take me a couple more weeks.
I want you to stay tuned.
There will be more coming the first of the year.
Plan on going right back to my normal schedule, putting it out there on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Wednesdays for Boomer podcasters and Thursdays for five minutes with Gray hair Dave.
So as you can tell, I'm using this for both podcasts.
This recording, nothing's wrong.
I just need a little time to regroup and decide how and where we're going from here.
When it comes to five minutes with Gray here, Dave.
And when it comes to Boomer podcasters, I want to start getting into the editing portion of it and how to do that and I really need to find a way to take you to video.
I mean, I know what it can be done, but it's easier for me to show a little bit than it is to explain it.
And then I want to start talking about other things, you know, proper etiquette, proper mic usage, proper show notes, you know, and also how to interview.
I also want to start looking into possibly adding some guests, but that's, that's more the February, March time frame for Boomer podcasters.
So if you've got anything you would like to say or let me know or something you'd like to find out about, especially from Boomer podcasters, go to the websites.
Either five minutes of gray here, dave.com, that's the number.
Five minutes with gray haired ave.com or boomer podcasters.com on either one of those websites, all you have to do is go over to the little microphone in the bottom right hand corner.
Click on that.
You have to leave me an email address, which of course I don't give them away.
I'm very selfish.
I keep them for myself.
But then what you need to do, just leave me a quick message.
Hey Dave, I'd like to hear this.
Or hey Dave, could you show me that?
Or hey Dave, where the heck you been?
Whatever you want to say.
You can also go to the comment section or the contact me page and leave me a note there.
All it requires is your email address.
I keep that email.
I keep that email from me.
That way if something comes up in the future that I think you should know about or an offer I want to give you or maybe a contest that comes up.
I have your email address also.
See things like that, that ding that just came through and you need to start turning off your notifications while you're recording.
Somebody sent me a text message.
Those are the types of things that you don't think about originally when you start.
So those are the things I'm going to be talking about.
Not just the nuts and bolts, but it's everything else that goes into it.
I'm looking forward to it.
I'm making notes, I'm taking, I'm taking some time to think about how it needs to be put forward.
And I appreciate your patience.
So from Gray Hair Dave, don't forget.
Don't forget.
If you know somebody who doesn't know what a podcast is, doesn't know where to find one, how to play it, how to subscribe, follow, download, anything, do me a favor, show them they don't know what kind of genres are out there.
Help them look at it because there are so many genres out there that are interesting as can be.
There really, really are so many things.
And if you're a person who wants to start a podcast, please let me know.
I'd be happy to help you.
I'd be happy to help you learn how to edit.
I'd be happy to know, help you with all these things.
So don't forget.
Leave me a message on my website.
Also, folks, I hope you have a happy holiday season again.
I won't be back till January, so have a merry Christmas, a happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year, and I will be back at the beginning of the year.
Don't forget, the most important thing in life is to smile at somebody that you don't know.
You will make their day.
So on behalf of everybody here at Gray Hair Productions, which is basically me and my computer, you all have a great rest of your year and I will be back to talk.
Bye.
