Today we talk about the purpose and benefits of creating a terrible lead magnet, how growing your email list leads to a stronger and more profitable business.

This is the third topic in my three part series on building a community, topic which was covered in episode 96, ’’Build Your Community’’.

These are the three steps on developing a lead magnet and growing your list:

  1. Create a valuable resource - Build content which will get people’s attention and make them want to come to your community
  2. Nurture your leads - Make sure to keep sharing content consistently with your audience, continue adding value, and try and connect with them more directly through a call or event.
  3. Create brand advocates - After you've helped your customers, ask them to share your story across their network.
