Recently I posted Kittens For Sale On Kijiji and not long after posting it “Tyler” messaged me saying it was illegal to sell kittens in Nova Scotia without them being vet checked first. I blocked Tyler. The next day, Jade Bloom, Kings County, Nova Scotia, SPCA come claiming someone reported us for Advertising to Sell Kittens without them being Vet Checked. Note, my Ad said nothing one way or the other about them being Vet Checked. Also note that no kittens have been sold, and no dates for a Vet Check were stated, nor required. Probably because the kittens weren’t even old enough to be sold, and were not sold. Last week we told SPCA Officer Jade Bloom that the Mother would be spayed and the Kittens would be Properly Homed. She did not accept that, and wanted me to agree to a list of things, some of them mentioned only by Abbreviations, and I said I would not agree to that, but that I would have the Mother Spayed and that the Kittens would be properly homed. That wasn’t good enough for Her and she said she’d be back with another SPCA Officer. Today, 3 SPCA Officers and 3 Royal Canadian Mounted Police showed up! I decided it was time to go Public! We live in a small community, and after having the SPCA here twice, and three Police Cars in our Yard, I wanted people to know it was because of an Ad on Kijiji and not because of any abuse, nor cruelty. The Video posted following this one shows the SPCA Officer saying, “Yeah, they look good”, while looking at the Kittens.
