We’ve been told that moving Pigs is a very difficult thing to do! We got ours, a few months old, from The Long Branch Farm, in Woodstock, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, in April, 2021. Their pigs are all raised as naturally as possible and handled from birth, while remaining with the Momma. The result is a very friendly pig, very responsive, and easy to handle. Ours are Berkshire, with a little Tamworth, and are now about 7 months old. This video shows us moving them about 60’ to another pasture, and it only takes about 30 Second!
