As I prepare to separate Lara from some of her piglets, we’ll be taking the three males home to a pasture of their own by month end. I want to create as stress free a situation as possible. Since Lara has been out, a couple times without the Piglets, I’m thinking by creating this pasture I may be able to let her out and keep the piglets that will be moving in their stall. With this new pasture, down over a hill, and at 150’ from the barn, I may be able to do it without her knowing the moment I pig up the piglets in the stall. We’ll see how that goes in a week or so.
