Our Garden has definitely suffered this year. It was too dry, then, to wet, and then to hot, to get it tended to. In order to help keep moisture in it we allowed the weeds to grow! It helped, the weeds grew really well! The other thing it did was hold moisture for the vegetables and it also help avoid soil erosion when the rains came. So, although it was definitely over grown in weeds, it has helped with the vegetables as well. This video shows me trimming back the weeds.
