Catholic Grandparents Association is coming to Charlotte!

Back in the pandemic summer of 2020 while preparing for our virtual Eucharistic Congress broadcast and live stream event from SJCS, we looked for ministries that were underserved in the Carolinas.  One of the most important discoveries was the Catholic Grandparents Association.  Since that time we have included CGA in all of our major events.  In 2023 I inquired about Carolina Catholic sponsoring a local chapter.  Unfortunately their Pope approved charter does not allow for media companies to do this.  As I promoted this in our newsletters and personal appearances  two women stepped forward to take the reigns and make our dream a reality.  Beginning next month under the leadership of Teresa Sanctis (St.Ann’s) and Kathy Consler (St.Matt’s) the first event will take place next month.  You’ll find all the details below.  We look forward to helping launch this vitally important family ministry in passing on the Catholic Faith to our grandchildren’s generation.

~~~ HAIL, HOLY QUEEN --- (The Salve Regina) ~~~
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry,  poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most Gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show unto us the Blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.  O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
