8-15 CC EDITION

Dear Carolina Catholic Media Family,

Allow me to share with you a sincere thank you for your prayers, feedback and financial support since we signed on as Charlotte’s first Catholic Radio Station in 2019.  As you know, we are in serious need of your financial assistance to see that we continue with our Catholic Media Mission.

Here is the situation today...

Donations are way down due to the typical summer ‘siesta’ period.  We have fallen behind in payment to suppliers and must protect our primary assets in order to keep the radio station. For us to continue and see through the sale of the station to the best possible Catholic operator we must raise $12,500 immediately.  This will cover:

$4000 - Transmitter Room Rent

$2500 - Duke Energy

$2000 - Digital Streaming Service

$1500 - Liability Insurance

$1500 - Independent Contractors

$1000 - Spectrum

That’s the purpose behind this urgent request.  Once this has been accomplished, we will keep the 7 platforms of the Carolina Catholic Media apostolate operating and prepare the radio station to return to the air waves within 90 days (11/1) hopefully under new Catholic ownership.

Please note If you are in a position to provide a bridge loan of any amount, we will pay it back with interest at closing.

I appreciate you discerning this request as we seek to keep Charlotte’s first Catholic Radio station on the air with quality local Catholic programming for many years to come.  May God Bless you abundantly.

St. Joseph College Seminary - Charlotte

The seminary enjoys a fruitful relationship with Belmont Abbey College and the Benedictines of Belmont Abbey.  We are truly blessed to live around the corner from the monks.  The other day, Fr. Kauth welcomed Brothers Gabriel, Chrysostom, and Joseph for a tour of the seminary.
