Dear Carolina Catholic Media Family,
What an exciting week to look back at and look ahead to!
We will be focused on the Diocese of Charlotte Eucharistic Congress, the political policy issues for this fall’s election from a Catholic perspective and all that happens with the start of a new Catholic School year.
On the fundraising front, we had a good initial response to our plea for enough financial assistance to continue our Catholic Media Mission. As of today we still need about $10,000 to cover expenses for the radio station until we finalize a purchase agreement. Our goal is to have Catholic Radio back on the greater Charlotte airwaves under new ownership in time for Advent.
Once divested of the radio station, we will focus all our resources on the 6 local digital platforms of Carolina Catholic Media. Remember that everything we do is with local Carolina Catholics in mind. Unlike the networks, it takes local funding to keep local programming. Please join us by making a one time donation or monthly pledge to help us see through this transition.
May God Bless you abundantly!

At the Knights of Columbus’ annual convention in Quebec, Canada, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly announced a significant rise in membership and record charity donations for 2023. Membership increased by 92,000, reaching 2.1 million last year, with notable growth in the United States, Ukraine, the Philippines, Mexico, France, and particularly in South Korea. Kelly also highlighted an uptick in membership in Cuba, where the Knights and other Catholics have faced severe repression since the mid-1900s. #shalomworldnews #newsupdates #knightsofcolumbus #quebec #Canada #PatrickKelly

The seminary enjoys a fruitful relationship with Belmont Abbey College and the Benedictines of Belmont Abbey. We are truly blessed to live around the corner from the monks. The other day, Fr. Kauth welcomed Brothers Gabriel, Chrysostom, and Joseph for a tour of the seminary.
