9-04 CC EDITION

Dear Carolina Catholic Media Family,

The “BER” months of fall have arrived and with it a little break in temperatures too.  This post Labor Day Weekend edition focuses on the Diocese of Charlotte Eucharistic Congress with complete coverage provided by The Catholic News Herald.

You’ll also find news on Pope Francis’ lengthy trip to southeast Asia…  the latest US election coverage… which direction Hispanics are leaning… more on the highly acclaimed REAGAN movie and the fascinating comparison with the world today, 40 years later.  We also have the announcement of who will be the new pastor at St. Pius X in Greensboro.

As we enter fall fundraising season we continue our plea for your financial support to help keep our Local Carolina Catholic Media Mission moving forward. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover radio station expenses until we finalize a purchase agreement with a new Catholic Owner-Operator who will help us turn Local Catholic Radio back on the greater Charlotte airwaves in time for the Advent season.

Once divested of the radio station, we will focus all our resources on the 6 local digital platforms of Carolina Catholic Media. Remember that everything we do is with local Carolina Catholics in mind. It takes local funding to create and keep local programming. Please join us by making a one time donation or monthly pledge to keep Carolina Catholic Media here to educate, inform and entertain our children and grandchildren for many years to come.  May God Bless you abundantly!

In the peace of Christ,

St. Joseph College Seminary - Charlotte

The seminary enjoys a fruitful relationship with Belmont Abbey College and the Benedictines of Belmont Abbey.  We are truly blessed to live around the corner from the monks.  The other day, Fr. Kauth welcomed Brothers Gabriel, Chrysostom, and Joseph for a tour of the seminary.
