Letter from the Chairman
Hello Carolina Catholic Family.
Hope you had a wonderful first week of Advent and start to the Catholic Church’s new liturgical year!
As mentioned in last week’s newsletter we are developing a wide range of initiatives and programs for the new year which we are calling PROJECT 22. It is designed to better connect our parishes, schools and Laity through our 6 media platforms. This is especially important because of the 50th Anniversary of the Diocese of Charlotte, development of our local response for the Synod and the new summer dates (August 5-6) for the Eucharistic Congress.
To maximize our effectiveness, we are working on how to make our volunteer organization more proactive and responsive to you. This includes promoting events before they happen, live broadcasts when they happen, and to provide all programs ON-DEMAND in the Podcast section of our website and mobile app. A side note, this week we were recognized for passing 600 episodes of local programs in our Podcast library!
For platform continuity, we are working diligently to mirror all digital content between our website and mobile app.
To give you a better idea of our focus for PROJECT 22, here are the initiatives and programs currently under development.
As you think about your year-end giving, please keep us in prayerful consideration. Every day is Giving Tuesday for us as we attempt to cover the costs to accomplish everything I’ve shared with you in PROJECT 22.
Together we can make an amazing impact as we Evangelize the Truth of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church across the Carolinas! Thank you and God Bless you in the week ahead!
Peace and all good.
