Spotlight Program: JOYFUL ECHO
Easter Series on HOPE“Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope”(1 Peter 3:15) St. Peter’s words are truly convicting and especially appropriate during the Easter Season, when the Church sets aside 50 days to reflect on the wonder and hope of the resurrection of Our Lord! Is your hope recognizable? In other words, are you living in a way that would prompt someone to ask you “for a reason for your hope?” Have you considered the “reason for your hope?” Would you be willing to share that reason with “anyone who asks?” Spend the Easter Season with Joyful Echo, and join in the conversation about HOPE! Jean and Kathleen welcome some special guests, who share their reasons for hope. Local guests are Mrs. Mary Stapleton, bringing hope to those experiencing addiction and recovery within marriage, and seminarian Christian Goduti, who discusses his hope in the Lord through a masculine lens of young adulthood and discernment. Author of the popular and award-winning book, “Jesus Approaches,” Liz Kelly opens up with Jean and Kathleen about her life of hope lived alongside the realities of multiple sclerosis and divorce. Liz’s experiences of teaching, writing, speaking, and studying spiritual direction provide so much insight that two episodes of Joyful Echo with her will still leave you wishing to hear more from her about the Lord. Of course, what series on hope would be complete without reflecting on Our Blessed Mother. Marian consecration is a powerful act of hope in the Lord and the Father’s will, revealed and embodied in Mary. Joyful Echo airs on Wednesdays at 5pm. You can listen anytime On-Demand and download episodes at www.CarolinaCatholicMedia.org. Archive episodes will air after Pentecost while Jean and Kathleen enjoy the summer months with their families.
