Elizabeth Harris, serves as Senior Regional Programs Manager for Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL). Her fire for empowering mothers was first born from experience when she faced an unexpected pregnancy as a young adult. Though a regular client at Planned Parenthood at the time, she fought to have her child, later became a pro-life doula and nurse, and finally signed on with SAFL to fulfill an intense tugging at her heart to do more. She has the privilege of co-leading a local team of Sidewalk Advocates in front of the abortion facility in Asheville, NC. In addition, she is a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She teaches fertility awareness as a Certified Educator through Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) and has a deep passion for teaching women and men about their God-given sexuality. She is also a proud single mother and grandmother. Lastly, Elizabeth serves in her community as the Respect Life leader at her local Catholic parish as well as an advisor for C-PLAN of Western North Carolina.
