"I listen to your station everyday at work while I’m driving my van so I felt that it’s only fair to pay a little bit to help keep your wonderful station operating. Thank You very much for all you do,"

CAROLINA CATHOLIC MEDIA
Proclaiming the faith in a digital age with Local Evangelization built to put the
TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST back into the secular and contrary messages of our world.
Bishop Jugis’ announcement of the “new pastoral priorities for the diocese” coincides with our announcement regarding the future of Charlotte’s first Catholic Radio Station AM1270 WCGC. In reading through Bishop Jugis’ list, I was taken with the fifth priority which is in alignment with our work and the intention of our core initiatives at Carolina Catholic Media …
“Fifth, we must learn to proclaim the faith in a digital age, that we may better evangelize a culture teeming with secular and contrary messages.”

At the Charlotte Knights Baseball game last September, Monsignor Winslow stated how “Carolina Catholic Media was bringing the diocese closer together.” That has been done without the synergy of our 92+ parishes. Imagine what will happen when as Bishop Jugis has stated “we must learn to proclaim the faith in a digital age, that we may better evangelize a culture teeming with secular and contrary messages.” The Carolina Catholic Media apostolate IS perfectly positioned to facilitate bringing all our parishes closer together. This was a primary objective when we established our non-profit in the Spring of 2017. As you look at our progress these past 50 months and what we are planning for you in the months ahead, please keep in mind that the vast majority of this work is done by our largely volunteer staff. Despite this cost savings we have come to a fork in the road where we can no longer operate Charlotte’s 1st Catholic Radio Station without your immediate financial support.
We currently need $16,000 to stay solvent through June 30. As a result, we are working on contingency plans which include shutting the radio station off or selling it while continuing to operate our Mobile App, Website, YouTube Channel, Podcast Channel and eNewsletter digital platforms. It is with all of this in mind that I am announcing the most important pledge drive in our history.
Make the PENTECOST PLEDGE. Support CAROLINA CATHOLIC MEDIA today. What CAROLINA CATHOLIC MEDIA looks and sounds like will depend on YOU.
The Platform Lineup: What stays, what goes?Audio - Podcast/App/Website Video - YouTube/App/Website Social Media -Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn eNewsletter - email/social media Broadcast Radio/Digital Livestream This pledge drive campaign’s primary objective is to underwrite all our new local programs. With your support, we will take our LOCAL commitment to a whole new level. To make this happen, we will need Monthly Tithing and Annual Gift commitments from our parishes, Ministries, Schools, businesses, families, and individuals in the form of: Parish Monthly TithesSmall Parishes $500 Medium Parishes $750 Large Parishes $1000 Program SponsorshipsZoom: $250 per episode / $1000 per month (4 episodes) * Studio: $300 per episode / $1200 per month (4 episodes) * Zoom Audio/Video & Production - $200 In-Studio (per hour) - $50 Social Media/eNewsletter - $50 *All Platform UnderwritersDigital Ads/links on all platforms$1000 month / $12,000 Annual Apostolate BenefactorsMobile App Home Page Co-Sponsor (5 available)$1500+ month / $18,000+ Annual Please help us continue the mission and vision of CAROLINA CATHOLIC MEDIA for generations to come. THE OBLIGATION with Jason Murphy
Make sure to catch the latest edition of The Obligation when Jason sits down with US Marines Daniel Vu of Traditional Catholic Men and Joe Simmers of Queen of Martyrs Templars. In this impromptu interview made possible due to The Martyr's Walk Beta test this week in Charlotte that the men were both in town for, the guys discuss their life in the Marine Corps, the feminization of men in our church and world and the need for men of action. Talk is cheap and it is time for men to stand up and once again start leading their families first and foremost in prayer, sacrifice and example. Daniel and Joe will join a select group of men from across the county to test out The Martyrs' Walk program which will host its first event from August 24 to 26 in the Charlotte Area. The program is a Catholic Men's Bootcamp which combines the elements of a military bootcamp along with the principals and foundation of the Ignatian Retreat Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola which include Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell.
