Let's get into some US presidential race news because why not the, I don't know if you've seen these clips going around about of Donald Trump at the Al Smith dinner, but it was incredible. I mean, I don't know how anyone doesn't like this guy. He's hilarious. Even if you don't vote for him, I'm not talking about that. 1 (40s): Full voting. For me, 3 (44s): A major amazing issue of this race is childcare and Kamala has put forward a concept of a plan. A lot of people don't like it. The only piece of advice I would have for her and the event that she wins would be not to let her husband Doug, anywhere near the nannies, just keep 'em away. That's a nasty one. Chuck Schumer is here looking very glum. Disney looks glum. He looks glum. But look on the bright side, Chuck. Considering how woke your party has become, if Kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first woman president. 0 (1m 30s): That last one is so good. It's just amazing. Kamala sent a video in and comedian Jim Gaffing and made fun of her at the end. Let's check out this. I didn't think Jim got political. 1 (1m 47s): Your Eminence and distinguished guest, the Al Smith dinner provides a rare opportunity to set aside citizenship. Cool. 4 (1m 56s): Sorry. Sorry. 1 (1m 57s): Hey, what's going on? Who was that? Oh, 4 (1m 59s): Sorry. Mary Catholic. Elliot Mary Catholic. As soon, nice to meet you. 1 (2m 3s): Very nice to meet you Mary Catherine. Right now I'm trying to record my speech for tonight's dinner. Oh 4 (2m 7s): Yeah, I know. I just wanna say that I'm Catholic and tonight is one of the biggest dinners next to the last supper. It 1 (2m 12s): Is a very important dinner and it's an important tradition that I'm so proud to be a part of. 4 (2m 17s): Sometimes when I get nervous, I stick my fingers under my arms and I smell 'em like that. But that's 1 (2m 24s): Gross. So tell me something, I'm giving a speech. Do you have some thoughts about what I might say tonight? 4 (2m 29s): My feelings about what you say tonight would be best expressed in a monologue from one of my favorite made for TV series. 1 (2m 35s): Okay, let's hear it. 4 (2m 37s): Don't you see, man? We need a woman to represent us. A woman brings more heart, more compassion and think how smart she must be to become a top contender in a field dominated by men. It's time for a woman, bro. And with this woman, we can fly. 1 (2m 57s): What series was that from? 4 (2m 58s): Oh, that's from House of Dragons. Now streaming on HBO Max. 1 (3m 1s): Is there anything that you think that maybe I shouldn't bring up tonight? 4 (3m 5s): Well, don't lie, thou shall not bear a false witness to thy neighbor. 1 (3m 9s): Indeed. Especially thy neighbor's election results. 4 (3m 12s): Just, you know, there will be a fact checker there tonight. 1 (3m 15s): Oh, that's great. Who? 4 (3m 17s): Jesus. And maybe don't say anything negative about Catholics. 1 (3m 21s): I would never do that no matter where I was. That would be like criticizing Detroit in Detroit. 4 (3m 27s): Does it bother you that that Trump guy insults you all the time? 'cause it really bothers my friends and me. 1 (3m 32s): Oh, Mary Catherine, it's very important to always remember you should never let anyone tell you who you are. You tell them who you are. 4 (3m 40s): Hater's gonna hate, hate, hate. Shake it off, 1 (3m 43s): Shake it off, shake it off. Shake it off. Good for 5 (3m 46s): You, America. They're ready. 4 (3m 47s): Oh yeah. Okay. And also, remember one more thing. Don't worry if you make a mistake. Catholic people are very forgiving. Yeah. And also, one last thing I wanna tell you. Don't forget to say 1 (3m 56s): Superstar. Thank you Mary Catherine. Thank 4 (3m 60s): You mama. 1 (4m 1s): Thank you. Your eminence. 6 (4m 14s): I don't even know what that noise you're making is. So I'm ah, I don't know. As I watched that it, I couldn't help but think of. Now I know how my kids felt when I call. I FaceTimed into a piano recital. They were at, 0 (4m 32s): Well, bump, I don't really get it. It has almost 6 million views. So I guess everyone else really likes it. But is that, was this recorded after she told the people at her rally, someone said, Jesus is king. And then she said, you're at the wrong rally. You're supposed to at the smaller one down the street as to her trying to kind of make amends with all of the people that love Jesus. 'cause I don't think that's gonna really work. Lizzo claps back at Trump for his comments about Detroit. Detroit ranked second least safe city in the us. I wish that these would just start with noise, you know? 0 (5m 14s): Ah, 5 (5m 19s): I'm so proud to be from this city. You know, they say if Kamala wins, then the whole country will be like Detroit. Okay. Proud like Detroit. Resilient. Like Detroit, 0 (5m 34s): Maybe her speech writer should have gone with something a little bit different. Usher speaks at a Kamala event. Who is this supposed to win over? 7 (5m 44s): We love you. I love you more, but I love Kamala Harris even more. I want her to be our next president of the United States. And we can do it, but we're gonna do it together One more time. We ready? What? 8 (6m 11s): We ready? 7 (6m 12s): Come on, Georgia. We what? What? One more time. One more time. We, 8 (6m 25s): Okay. We created, 0 (6m 30s): I feel like they're making such a huge push for white millennial women. That's who I think they're trying to win over with that superstar girl and Kamala. And then the little nudge of Taylor Swift in there. I think that's what they're trying to get, is just white millennial women. And honestly, if they're dumb enough that like a celebrity is going to sway their vote, I guess good for that marketing team. Donald Trump takes off his jacket and puts on an apron for his shift at McDonald's. What, how did I miss this? 3 (7m 9s): Hello? Everybody in this is here. She has this is in this, she has an apron. Four years old and good job. First name I think I should take off from. Should I take off my jacket? I think so. The press wants to see this. Well, you, he is a wealthy guy. He owns a lot of McDonald's. That's great. Thank you. Okay. I think that's good. Want it? Yeah. Mr. Re, what's your favorite thing to order on McDonald's? I like it all. I like, I like every ounce of it. Everything. But I do like the french fries who I'll be working. 3 (7m 52s): I listened to Kamala. She said it was so hot. It was so hot. It was such a tough job. I don't You have a man that's been doing it for many years at the French. French, right. I wanna learn everything. 0 (8m 3s): We, someone posted a meme, I think it was today that I saw, and they said, if Donald Trump can fix the ice cream machines, the election is over. Oh, we have a clip of him making fries. Relatable. He's every man 3 (8m 21s): Touched by a human hand. Nice and clean. Wish my hands are nice. And this guy's a good instructor. Appreciate, 0 (8m 33s): I just don't get these. I'm gonna give 3 (8m 34s): A really big one 0 (8m 35s): So that I don't get it. It's pouring out. It's funny. It makes for great content. I wouldn't have a job if this didn't exist. Liam Payne from One Direction dies at 32 in Buenos Aries. I saw that I never watched One Direction, so I don't know who he is, but it is, it is kind of odd when someone just falls off of a balcony. Liam Payne, an English singer who rose to fame as a member of the boy band. One Direction died after falling from a balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and suffering multiple traumas and hemorrhages according to the National Crime and Correctional Prosecutor's office. A toxicology report is still pending, but autopsy results released by officials Thursday said he died from multiple traumas, internal and external bleeding. 0 (9m 21s): Authorities said substances were found in Payne's hotel rooms suggesting alcohol and drug consumption before his death. And the investigation so far indicates the musician was under the influence and alone when he fell. A local official cited by the associated pre associated press says Pain had jumped from the balcony on his of his room with forensic experts later explaining that the position of his body suggested he did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself, and that he could have fallen on the state, fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness. Police were reportedly rushed to the scene just after 5:00 PM local time after the hotel's manager placed an emergency nine one one call complaining about a guest under the influence of drugs and alcohol who had destroyed some objects in the room. 0 (10m 8s): And we have the 9 1 1 call. 10 (12m 3s): No. Okay. Perfect. No. Okay. Okay, perfect. 0 (12m 33s): That's really weird that they couldn't get into the room. That's very odd. This is how they found the room. So let's look at a picture of the room or a video posted to the room. Yeah, totally trashed. Yeah. Glass broken stuff's all over the floor. Holes in what looks like the walls. Hmm. Interesting. Very interesting. Abortion has, PA has passed inflation as the top election issue for women under 30 survey fines. Finally, something else passes that topic. Abortion has passed inflation to become the top issue in the presidential election for women younger than 30. 0 (13m 16s): Since Vice President Kamala Harris replaced President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket. According to the results released Friday of a survey of a female of female voters by KFF. About two in five in the group of young voters said abortion was their top concern in recent survey. In a recent survey compared to one in five who ranked it the most important In the same survey in the spring, in the earlier edition, inflation was the top concern for young voters as it was for women voters of all ages. Inflation remained the top concern for women in each group over 30. And for women. And for women overall. Women overall ranked abortion as their number three concern after inflation and threats to democracy. 0 (13m 60s): But ahead of immigration, college girls care for abortion. This should be good. 11 (14m 7s): Honestly, just like, honestly everything about her, I just support 12 (14m 11s): Her. You just love her? Her She's just, she's 11 (14m 13s): Just, no, I don't love, I don't, I don't need to love any like president necessarily, but I support her. 12 (14m 19s): You're with Kamala though. I am. Alright. You plan on voting in the presidential election? Yeah, I already voted. You already voted. Who did you vote for? Ka. Why do you like Kamala? 11 (14m 30s): I just think she has a good plan for our country. 12 (14m 33s): What did, what do you like best about her plan for America? 11 (14m 37s): Well, productive rights for women for starters. 12 (14m 40s): Do you know who you're voting for? No. You don't know who you're gonna vote for yet. What are the issues that might change your mind, man? Like economy. Some people talk about economy, they talk about the border, some people talk about abortion. Do you think abortion would be your number one issue? Who are you guys gonna be voting for? Aris are both of you? Yes. And why do you like Harris? 14 (15m 6s): I just like that she stands for, I like her as a person. She has personality. She's nice and she believes 11 (15m 11s): That majority of people have rights, which is nice. 12 (15m 14s): Are there rights that people are being denied that she's gonna give them? I mean it's, it's treatments, it's involvement in the military, trans people. Trump took them out of the military. There was just treatment of people. Healthcare for women. Are you gonna be voting in the presidential election? 11 (15m 33s): Yes, I am. 12 (15m 33s): Who are you gonna be voting for? 11 (15m 36s): Where's this thing posted? 12 (15m 37s): On my channel. I host a political talk show. 11 (15m 40s): I'll probably be voting for 12 (15m 41s): Kamala Kamala. And what do you like about Kamala? 11 (15m 44s): I just feel like she's overall a lot more respectful of different groups within America. And I'm on a zoom for my class right now, so I'm a little distracted. 0 (15m 54s): I can't watch any more of that clip. I don't understand. I never once really considered that at all while I was in college. There are so many other things that you can do to prevent pregnancy that are better for you, safer for you. No way less harm. The list goes on and on. You kids have Google. You can look at all of the ways that you can prevent pregnancy safely. Charlie Kirk leaves pro abortionist speechless. Oh great. Here we go. Charlie Kirk, 15 (16m 21s): I am of the, of the belief that abortion is never medically necessary. 16 (16m 23s): Are you a doctor? 15 (16m 26s): No. Are you? No, but but there is a Yeah, but there's, there is a community of OBGYNs that agree with me. 16 (16m 31s): So is it, so is it our decision to make? Is it something that we can 15 (16m 34s): Decide? Well, that's an interesting question. First of 16 (16m 35s): All. So if, should it be something that people have the ability to vote on? Yes or no? If a woman isn't able to make that choice, should 15 (16m 41s): A mom be able to 2-year-old daughter? No. Are you a doctor? 13 (16m 45s): No. 15 (16m 46s): Okay, but why? Why are we able to say it's wrong? So we're able to make moral statements when the baby's outside the womb. Why not? Why it's in the womb. Thank you for coming up to think about that. 0 (17m 6s): I just wish that the crowd wasn't so mean. So you have this person's, if the goal is to change hearts and minds, if the goal is to get people into your camp or your ideology or your religion, whatever it is, you have a young lady like this who's really processing something. Like she just had a huge epiphany it seems, and she's just trying to figure it out. Like that should be encouraged, welcomed, propped up and not ridiculed by a bunch of everyone that's like, we just dunked on you. That is not, that's not a good look. It's not gonna get anyone to like you more or be open to your suggestions. Like that could have been a really cool and a life changing moment for that young lady. 0 (17m 46s): But you have this crowd of just freaking douches behind her that are picking on her. And then he's kind of being a dick too. So he could have done something so much more powerful with that moment and he chose to just dunk, which is what the right always does. And I don't get it. It's like, oh, you clearly don't care about actually making any change. You just wanna be right. And while I agree with that version of how he's talking about like moral judgment and moral decisions based on off of abortion, he is way, way, way, way, way more extreme than I personally am on the subject. And I think most people as well. So take what you like, leave what you don't. But I don't see anything beneficial. I don't support bullying and like dunking on people. 0 (18m 27s): It's like you have your idea win. And then if you actually are in a rare position where you said something that influenced someone and possibly changed a long held belief, then like welcome them in. And that's awesome. But don't be like, fuck you dunk. That makes no sense. Let's wrap this all up, shall we? With something positive? We have a brother and sister accepting consequences. This is gonna be good. 17 (18m 54s): You know, them colors don't wash off for 24 hours. Okay, you wanna go out like that? Yeah. Off for 24 hours. Okay. 0 (19m 6s): Covered in permanent marker. For others that are just listening, 17 (19m 9s): That's fine, that's fine. Okay. Mazie, you know, 24 hours permanent marker for a day. 0 (19m 18s): Oh sweet. 17 (19m 21s): Baby's so 0 (19m 22s): Cute. Oh no. How do you get that off? It's all around their eyes and their lips. Poor babies. But it's hysterical. That's it for this week's episode of chatting with Candace. Again, hit that like and subscribe. And then we have some really cool affiliates and sponsors below.
