I absolutely love paw paws. They're a fruit that's native to the Mid-Atlantic. I find them here in Maryland. They have a tropical flavor, reminiscent of bananas, mango and strawberries. The harvest season is only a month at most. I'll be using these in paw paw bread, creme brulee, tiramisu and panna cotta.
