Welcome to season four. I don't even  know why they call themselves that. Season   four! We're not talking about it, it's  not appropriate. Are you going to sing
a coffee talk, well you're the one  that keeps going down that road.   This could be edited out. Does it ever  get edited out? It needs to be.
Season four of Coffee Talk. I can't  believe we've made it this long.   I yeah. Sort of, hanging on by a thread. I mean  today at least. I'm gonna need you to get some pep.
Do you want some of what's in my cup? No it's the  same as what's in my cup just no sugar. I know,   it's the sugar that makes it good. I'll just take a  sip. It's warm. I put mine on ice. Ew you nasty. So
how excited are you for season four? I'm not.  I am super excited. Well so am I considering it was
my idea. Okay it was your idea and then you wanted  to like deviate from the idea and I was like whoa
reel it in buster. Well you weren't  having any success so I was like you know. No we just expanded so we're highlighting
event venues. Wow. I was going to say, I was  trying to decide between venue and facility.
Vendors? What? We could just call it vendors. A venue's a vendor. I'm dropping stuff. Yeah but is it
like what's the difference between a facility  and a venue? I don't know a facility can do lots
of other things, a venue is specific. A venue is  just the building? You know I got my CVP and I
couldn't tell you. Oh, well glad that was a waste  of money. It was not, I passed. Uh-huh. But they
didn't even teach you what the difference was?  So facility basically encompasses everything so
like an academic, an academic building can  be considered a facility. Anything that's a
building technically is a facility. A venue is  something that caters to events. If you want me
to get more specific I can read the definition  really quick here on my tablet. I will google it.
That's my blanket understanding. Well this season  we're going to be highlighting- venues. Venues
not just on campus,  originally it started on campus
but we won't talk about my email ordeal or  people's lack of answering. So we've expanded it
Which is really sad considering we're in the  service industry and people still have a hard   time answering things. I mean after three  emails I'm not gonna email you anymore.
They're probably hoping after the first one you'd   quit. Well they could respond and be like no thanks.
Yeah. So we expanded it to within the community.  Got lots of more feedback, lots of more feedback.
Words, these fancy things. So that'll be exciting because  we're going to be doing on-site. Some yes, for some
of them. On site tours. Yes. Tours. Which is exciting yeah. Yeah we still have to figure out that
that hurdle. I don't know what you're talking  about. Mm-hmm your microphone situation. Did you ever find them?
No but they've got to be somewhere right? At the  store still? No. Go buy some more. No I bought some.
I know but if you can't find that you're gonna  go buy some more. I have some of them I just I've looked at a few   places in my office and I was like well. Pieces, a few pieces in my office? Places? Words. So and I was
like well maybe it's at home in the office and  I was like maybe it's at home in the office.
Yeah I've seen that office although it's fairly  organized considering. Very organized, it just has
a lot of stuff in it. Yes it does. So yeah as  I said I'm excited, she's not as excited. No I
am excited. I'm excited because we don't ever talk  about venues really I usually harp on catering and
other things but yes it would be nice to know. Catering linen. It would be nice to know other
options that people have in town especially now  that there are several more that continue to pop   up and lots of places that have done renovations  and things like that so. We're not sticking
just to the College Station area correct? We're  doing BCS as a whole, trying to. Bryan College
Station? Yeah. Yes. Okay well I'm just making specifics. That's the community. That's the   community, they're sisters. Sort of. Sister cities.  Yeah yeah so. So anyways yes so I am excited and
no offense to anyone we will not be going to the  traditional ones, we will not be visiting the Expo.
Is it is it the expo or is it the center? Oh my god.  I don't even know. Neither one we're not doing either   one. It's the expo. The Brazos Center is  behind Target. Yes. Yeah make sure I quote that right.
Do we need to hashtag it too? We can tag them.   Anyways if any of you follow us on social  media you'll understand the struggle.
It is always forever real. But we did  have an event that I was super excited about.
Yes we did, we hosted our own, let me get this  right, catering and vendor showcase. First ever
successful catering and vendor showcase. And hopeful to  do it again. Yeah, yeah I saw somebody put it on my
calendar already and I was like ooh. Yeah in August.  That's coming up soon. Better start working on it.
Yes. Yeah we got a lot- some- mostly good feedback. Mostly?  Well okay I will say all feedback is good feedback
because I can learn and grow. Speaking  of feedback I've got to email that lady.
Oh oh good I don't have to. No. Okay. I thought about  it this morning and then I forgot till just now.
Yeah. No it'll be fine I'm actually  curious to get a bit more information.
So like I said all feedback is good feedback,  however it helps when it's constructive.
So while we didn't have- okay but in  her defense we're not very nice to MPI.
Oh is that where she was from? No but we-  But we're at least slightly constructive like
Why are you hosting 15 webinars in a week that  all cover the same thing there's no point to that.
We're having cables run around everywhere  and then you ask about it. Ridiculous.   Yeah. Oh we did our own AV well let  me tell you what I keep in my purse.
Duct tape, because even if you don't have gaff  tape you can still make the cables look pretty.   Oh my god. So every event planner that i know  has an emergency bag and carries things like
that with them. So to have a- I'm getting off  I'm getting off on a- But all I'm saying is
the feedback while it may not seem very  constructive it's not like we necessarily always   give constructive feedback to MPI so I mean- I mean  I try to- well so do I but it's not like we're nice
about it. I mean you're not. Uh excuse me I've heard  your stuff. I'm nice about it I'm just blunt. I
feel like that was a blunt statement and it was  you know I mean understandable but at the same   time you know just education on what actually was  supposed to transpire. So some of the feedback was
very constructive and obviously- we have a few  to respond to. Taking into account some
of the volunteers for the event didn't show up so  we had to shift things slightly, signage was not
on my brain and it should have been. Because I mean  this whole COVID season is all about the signage
so when we went from guided tours to self-guided  tours I should have put out a sign. You right.
You right. You right. Yeah well I walked  around and tried to catch people as they walked
in spaces. Yeah. And bug them. I talked to a few  people. I was proud of you. I did I socialized.
It's easier when there's food involved. There was  no food involved. No I just mean like having food
available is easier to socialize because then  you're in a mindset of like a reception where   you have to socialize. Oh yeah no I don't that doesn't go in. No? That's usually like a
sign for me to find a corner to hang out and  people watch. All of the corners were occupied.
So while we had several new  vendors, full service, dessert,
we are looking to expand that. We started out  small this time, we had a few vendors cancel, I
would say last minute but not really. So we  had to shift things again a little bit.
I feel like overall response was good,  I would definitely love to grow it
Well and I would assume so now that you've  actually had the first one and they do a lot
of word of mouth between the vendors themselves,  so I'm sure in the future that will help.
I think maybe timing I thought that  was a really good time to do it but maybe
closer into the semester like  maybe in February instead of January.
Why? Like beginning of February? Yes because most people are still on vacation,
some professors don't come back  until school starts, and then I mean   you know obviously this won't always apply but  COVID, who knows how many people were really willing
to get out. So but I think August will be a good  time especially right before school starts or
the week after school starts which when like new  student orientation and things like that are over
will be good. I think you have a golden opportunity  to add a lot more. Golden. Golden yeah I heard a lot
of good feedback from lots of people about  a lot of vendors they didn't even know about.
And that's the thing, they're vendors that  maybe you're not necessarily going to use   them at your event but they're good ideas to  have if you're doing anything in your office.
Yes. You know like we had Urban- yeah  go ahead. Urban Rubbish um and they do
gift baskets, snack baskets, like college like  study exam baskets. I was looking at their
website because they gave me a coupon. They gave  everybody a coupon it was in their grab bag.
And so they do potted plants, you know hanging  plants with the little macramé stuff I mean they
do floral arrangements, large, small, everything.  And they're they've been in town a long time but
I had never heard of them. Yeah I like it it's  very rustic. Yeah so I was- She was really nice
too. Yeah and I was looking at these snack bags or  snack baskets, thinking like that would be perfect
you know something special, new student orientation  week maybe you don't have a lot of student workers   or interns and you want to get them something  special for graduation, awesome. Or student employee
week appreciation student employee appreciation.  Oh yeah that's what it's called. Yeah yeah.   That's where my mind was going. Yeah I  assumed as much I was trying to get it right.
It's NSO, so in my mind. Yeah. Yeah. National  Student Employee Week or something.
Yeah cool. So anyways there were lots of options  and then you know I'm going to say it wrong
the French bakery. Le Macaron? They do you know the little individual servings.  And apparently waffles. Yeah waffles, croissants.
So I didn't realize they were doing waffles  and then- Yeah she asked me she was like can   we bring, can I go back and grab my toaster  because I have waffles I was like yes I
dropped you power because you asked. So she  did. Well we were sitting there talking to Dr. Ashley after he brought his class over. That  was quite funny because he was not supposed
to be eating sweets but he definitely took a  bite of a waffle and then went and got his own.
Well we won't talk about him trying the bread  pudding from Gumbeaux. I doubt that his wife watches
this so I'm sure he's fine. She might, this  will be the one. This would be the one yeah.
So yeah their bread pudding was good and I'm not  a huge fan of bread pudding but that was really   good. Neither am I but how do you go wrong  with amaretto chocolate bread pudding? Yeah.
They did not. They did not go wrong with it. I  still want more of that risotto. Oh yeah from
the Hilton? They have we had some great options  like I said I would love to grow it some more.
I feel like this this our jumping off point and we had some good hey think about
this next time you know like somebody  for nice sandwiches that's not just
Jason's Deli. Well I wasn't gonna say it.  Well I mean those are sandwich places   most people are used to getting boxed lunches  from them. Yeah you know so like an artisan deli.
Who would you call in this town? Zeitman's. What is that? Zeitman's? Is that how you say it?
I thought those were real estate or insurance people. No that's Zekeman's. There we go.
Oh um it's the- I've only lived here like twelve years. Deli  grocer that just opened in downtown Bryan so like
I don't know if they do boxed sandwiches or things  like that but like they make their own um like
corned beef in house so only on certain days they  do like corned beef sandwiches and things like
that. I need to find out where that is. Their own like bread they  make all of it in-house. They're not a chain? No.
You're gonna have to link that  somehow because I have no idea   how you just pronounced that because I wouldn't know how to spell it. It's z-i-e-t-m-a-n.
I believe. I mean I'm sure. We're friends  on Facebook. We're friends on Facebook.
We're acquaintances on Facebook we liked each other. Okay so yeah so there's
you know we did get some good feedback. I'm excited  to start looking again I mean even places that
have been around a while like Potbelly's on  Northgate, I've never eaten there. Ever? Ever.
So yeah see everybody's making a  face, well not Michael. But   um it's not bad. It's really they reached  out and wanted to be a part of our next showcase
so I don't know what they do as pertaining  to catering but I'm gonna find out. It's
probably a lot like all the rest of them. I  don't know. Yeah I want to do more Italian
so I can carb load on one day and then just  forget I carb loaded the next day. Do you want me   to just bring you lunches every other day? You  could. I can't believe you told me about your
pumpkin lasagna and didn't even bring any. I brought  the oatmeal bars. Yeah yeah yeah. Yes it was really
good, Cameron liked it. I can bring some, I have some  left over. It's fine let your child have it. I
wouldn't let Jeff eat any. No like I made a ton  like a nine by nine pan full. Yeah. I'll bring some
So catering vendor showcase went really well,  lots of very nice people that you worked with. Yeah
vendors were great. Vendors were great,  I'm looking forward to the next one.   So speaking of vendors and the catering showcase  so let's talk about the options that they
displayed for COVID. What? I was playing that song  in my head. What song? We're not gonna talk about it.
So the different displays they  had yeah obviously you had the traditional
buffet style setup that was self-serve. Right.   A lot of them did have attendants to serve it.
I don't feel like it would work at an actual event  because like the decorations and things they had.   Sure right. But then you also had your COVID  options were pre-boxed. Right. Or pre-packaged,
individually packaged however you want to  refer to it. Do you have any favorites? Yes. Okay
well let's go. The Hilton had these little  bamboo cones. Oh that had the charcuterie cup things?
Yes they were so cute and I've seen them on  like Instagram and Pinterest and stuff but I've
never actually seen them done and I really  like that, I thought that was stinking cute.
It was because it almost kind of looked like a  bouquet. Yes yes and then they had tiny little
elevated plastic salads on little square  plates that were probably like two inch by
two inch you didn't see them? I must have  missed that one, I was just in risotto land.
Well they had a fennel arugula salad on it. I  must have missed it. You did, you did it was right
under their chocolate or right above their  chocolate cake. I definitely missed it. And
I mean I thought that was cute. I did recommend they  have tiny forks next time for the tiny plate but
she said she knew. Yeah. But it just it  wasn't you know not that it wasn't feasible
but there was also other things that you  were eating with the forks like the risotto   so to have a tiny fork it didn't. That probably  would have slowed me down on the risotto though.
Yeah I feel like you would have started eating  it with your hands. Probably, or just using the   sandwich to scoop it. Yeah. So the little to  go container thing they had which looked like it,
Oh the Chinese takeout box. Okay so I'm  glad you said it not me. I was going that direction
because so Tanner and I were watching a movie  a couple nights ago and one of the things he   mentions he was like every time I crave Chinese  food I just get so excited because it you know I
want it to come in those Chinese take out boxes  and they don't. Most of them use the giant you
know Styrofoam now and a lot of places only  use it for the rice but if you're getting like
yeah so everything else they put in either the  round ones or the actual to go things so I was   really excited to see that and I was telling  him about it and I was like see some people do
you just have, maybe you have to just ask for  it maybe you can request it like a special   request you know instead of a dietary restriction  that's how I want it to be given to me but anyway,
I liked their little containers, I like that  it held a lot what was it a pint? It was a lot. Yeah
Go ahead you're just dying. No I  was gonna say did you know that those
little Chinese box containers you get from  the restaurants you can undo the sides and it   actually turns into a plate? For some reason I feel  like I knew that. Okay go ahead. But then I'm just
thinking the rice everywhere and children. It's sticky  rice, it stays shaped until you push it out. Sure,
sure yeah. I just learned the other day about  how to undo the plastic on the Gatorade bottles.
You don't know that? When they come in the like 6-pack and 12-pack whatever the little   plastic thing there's a tab that you  pull and it actually separates all of it.
Yeah. Yeah I didn't know that I just learned  that like two days ago yeah that's how you make   them like sea turtle safe because you do that and  then you. Yeah I mean I just cut them because I
pull from the bottom yeah I didn't realize it had  a tab that you pulled in- anyway. Okay getting off topic.   So yes I liked a lot of the options they had for  COVID, especially since we're still, we're not
requiring it but we're highly recommending  that people still yeah do the COVID stuff.
I really liked the little I guess what to me was  a bamboo box with the clear top for the salad that
Chartwells had. I really liked that a lot and  a lot of them had some really good options of
containers, displays, stuff like that. A lot of  them are definitely trying to do more stuff.
So that is something that is you know necessity  for when you're planning your events within the
venue. There's a lot of people that are still doing  it and have a lot of great options so self-serve
individual packaging whatever the case may be. And  they're pretty. They are pretty. They're not just
tacky styrofoam boxes or containers so yes  agreed. So speaking of COVID, anything else we need
to discuss COVID wise before you- Things that we  can offer in the facility. Yes. For if you are still
following COVID options, I don't know how to phrase  it. You're COVID conscious. COVID conscious.
Cuh-Cuh as Paxton says. It's a "K" mom. No buddy, it's not. Anyway.
So. So we still have hand sanitizers stations  stations the little stand-up things that you stick
your hand under and you get the hand sanitizer that smells amazing. But do you? Even when the button's
pushed all the way down does it really work?  Yes you just have to make sure that it's on.
So basically it's the user error. Yes. Okay.  100% user error. So we still have those.
If you attended the catering showcase, we had them  around the facility. We are still, we still
have our signs up encouraging people to wear  masks, regardless of vaccination status.
What else? We can still accommodate social  distancing in your room layouts. Yes
and we are still accommodating as we've already  discussed with the catering basically we're
just willing to do whatever is necessary to make  everybody feel comfortable when doing the events
in the venue. Within reason. Well yes yes.  I'm not tackling anybody and being like where's your mask.
We're not doing that. Well we can't anyway it's  university state property, we can't enforce it.   Well I mean I'm also not going to tackle  anybody so. I don't know. Not during workouts
I was gonna say I feel like one day maybe. So yeah we're still  willing, oh both of our auditoriums now
have the zoom capabilities so we can live  stream without a videographer. Correct.
Yeah so that's fun. Sorry. Yeah but if you want a  forecast, a forecast to the summer we are
going to be getting new chairs and carpeting  in the auditorium so we will not be available
during that time. But we're excited. Are we still  accommodating banquet spaces? Yes. Just not the
auditoriums. Correct. Maybe we'll get pewter  colored carpet. Dude I want to punch you right now
Pewter colored carpet. Just kidding. Mm-hmm,  you know Dr. Ashley ruined all of that for me.
I immediately said it without knowing anything  anybody said. I could have punched you too. That's
fine. Anyway, yes so speaking of auditoriums  being remodeled and you can still use the
banquet space. TJ has so kindly booked us- a lot?  until we yes don't get to sleep or have a life.
So that's awesome. You don't have to be here for  all of the events. No that's true I just have to   put them in the system and it's stressing me out. I  can also put them in the system. You can, you could,
you have enough going on. I got it, it's good, we're  cool. But I am excited because this is the busiest
even pre-COVID. I think this is the busiest that  we've been in quite some time. It's your sparkling
personality that attracts people to come here. I'm  so glad that you and I are on the same page today.
You're never on my level. That's why I got  my glitter cup, sparkly. Hashtag girlboss. Yeah
anyway. You totally looked like  Paxton when you just did that.
Yeah well I can't deny either  one of them they are my children.   Wow. Yeah so I'm excited though  because you have been able to
accommodate a ton of people that we haven't  really been able to accommodate and also the   people that have requested use of the venue since  the catering and vendor showcase we've had quite
a few requests since then. Is there any new  event on the horizon that you're excited about?
Yeah and I'm kind of glad it's not my event  at this point. But- so I can attend it
so I can attend it. But you could still attend   assuming I know which one you're talking about, but  you could still attend even if you were running it.
Yeah but then like my mind would be in other  places and I wouldn't actually be paying attention.   Gotcha. You know? Mm-hmm. Like it's Michael's  event. Yes it is. And we can put a plug out
there since they've already sent it  out. It's the Women Spies- conference. Conference.
Scowcroft Institute and Ready Room? No. No  Ready Room is just helping support as far as
needing staffing. I couldn't remember  what the flyer said. Yeah it's with professor
Weary. Catherine Weary. Sorry I had a brain fart.  Sorry Professor Weary. I promise. But I'm super I
was super excited when Julia first booked it and  I was like oh yes this is going to be awesome
and then it's just kind of grown  from that. Yes and I- I am so excited.
I think like this is on level of the pandemic  one that like the first big conference that I did
for Scowcroft. Oh yeah. Yeah where uh Leslie and  Lauren let me wear a train conductor's hat
and sit in the front row. You are  correct I apologize it is the Ready Room.   It's with Scowcroft Institute, the Intelligence  Studies Program, and the Ready Room and it is
called Women in Intelligence Inspiring the Next  Generation. So March 23rd and 24th. So far,
I'm sure Michael has been super thrilled that  I've stepped in to help a little bit. Oh yeah.
But we almost had them convinced that  it was necessary to do three days.
I mean next year it might be necessary  to do three days. Well Professor Weary was
definitely on board she got reigned in a little  bit, but she's very very excited from what I
can tell. Well it's an exciting topic. It is. The speakers that they're bringing in are like
supposed to be super awesome. I don't know I'm not  like it's still not my field. I have no idea.
Michael was panicking. Why? There's no reason  to panic this is an easy. Yes so I don't
know who they're having speak but apparently  they're super awesome. Yeah super hush hush.  He was panicking about the three day part. Oh.   That would have been easy. It's during the day
it's not like you're by yourself although we could  all call in sick and let's see how it goes but.,
I don't I don't wanna. Yeah I don't either  I'm actually very very interested in this one   and at some point they're doing breakouts with  the speakers from individual sessions which is
where if you wanna talk from an event standpoint  we had to get creative on how we were going to   be able to do all this and flip it for what they  want to do later in a very- y'all got it- minimal
amount of time. Yeah so I mean the next phase is  being able to talk to catering to talk about
how quickly they need to move, like my child this  morning when I tell him to find another gear and   he clearly doesn't know what that means so. It's  because kids these days don't know how to drive
a standard even if you've told them a million  times he's never had to put it into practice.
Yeah so I'm going to not say what I actually  told my child because otherwise Michael has to
work very hard at bleeping my potty mouth out so  when I had to explain to him what it was he was
just looked at me. I could have smacked him. Yeah so  anyway it is the women in intelligence inspiring
the next generation again it's March 23rd to  24th. I am very excited, it's a lot of fun. We
yes a lot of clients that we deal with are  excited about their events but I don't think   I've worked with a client in a long time who's  been so outwardly excited about what she's doing
so kudos to her and everyone planning. I know  the dean's involved I don't know how much the
dean's involved but you know they want to do  it here and we're going to make it work and
maybe as soon as we hear back from your professor  we can figure out what we can all make work.
So but I'm excited about that one. I  think you know there's the norm that I'm
always excited about, the stuff that we do  with the college quite often, you know all   of the graduation type festivities, their medal  of excellence and things like that, luncheons.
I'm excited to have events back in full swing. Yeah. Yes. So our regulars you know that we
have all the time like I'm excited for the Patent  Awards to come back because we haven't been able to do it.
I saw her at the vendor catering showcase and I  didn't recognize her at first and it took me a   minute and she walked right over and hugged me and  I was like totally ignoring the fact of COVID but whatever.
So yeah so- I love Diane. I'm excited to get all  of those like back in full swing. Yes and that
event is fun too. It's fun. Yeah that that I will  say as much as I complain about working with
committees, I will always work with that committee.  They're hilarious, they're absolutely fun
and they poke fun at each other which is even more  fun. Because you're used to that. Yes. Yeah
so I'm I'm excited for those back, I'm excited to  be able to get the Bush Ambassadors back helping
you know with the different events and things  that are going on. I'm just you know people, I'm excited for
people. Agreed and it still kind of blew my mind  when we were talking to Dr. Ashley's class   at that showcase when I- the second years. I  didn't even realize I just didn't even put
two and two together that they were second years  and had never been to an event in our building yet.
Which is I don't know for me I guess  sometimes I think COVID happened 10 years ago.
It kind of feels like it. Yeah so I'm like  oh yeah you guys weren't here for anything   Yeah. Yeah. But they should come to all of the  events now. But they've been in our building
for class. Yeah that's not as much fun. No it's  not. Yeah so I am excited to have all them back,
see their faces, do a lot more stuff, do some more  creative stuff, so that's part of the reason I feel
like I stepped in to help Michael I like doing  those kinds of events because then I get to pass   the buck off on day of and I'm like go have fun. Oh. Yeah just I do the hard part. Is it really the hard
part for you though? No no it's the super easy part for me,  it's fun for me it's like visualizing in my head
what a workshop looks like and then going into  the space after you all set it and it still sucks.
I mean listen I tell everybody that I literally  tell everybody, everybody that I've ever trained
I'm like listen we're gonna do this the best  that we can and we are absolutely going to   put effort into this so don't let it get you  down when Sarah walks in here and she's like
this is wrong. I said don't even let it  affect you, don't let it ruin your day.
Don't let it think like you can't ever do  it, you're just gonna have to live with it
My favorite was when Ruth Ann set for my event  a week ago and I walked in there and I was like   yeah you can't use the lines on the carpet. She was like what do you mean? I was like they're not
straight really they're not and I was like come  stand over here do you see how it goes like this.
It's like you can't use the lines on the  carpet I tell everybody you can use it as a   general guideline but just know it's not going  to be exact. Yeah well this was PDR and she was
creating the hollow square and I was like  how do you not see that the hollow square is   like what is it a rhombus? No I pull out my geometry  it was not right. Well whoever installed the
carpet. It's not the installer's fault it  is the people who made the carpet because it
was to a custom size and so when they sewed it  yeah anyway long story short that was eons ago
and enough fights with that one so. But anywho  yes it is very fun to watch you guys suffer.
I put it out there. That's nice. Yes it is nice.  Yes so we get to all suffer together this semester.
Yeah. Yeah I think you even have you even  assigned yourself a couple of events. I did   and apparently there's one that's waiting that I  keep forgetting about. It's waiting? It's waiting
in the unassigned. Oh yes. I have to go assign it.  What did you think I meant? Like you had assigned
yourself an event and like they were just  waiting like it's gonna happen. Yeah maybe.
Yeah. Yes the Ecological Integration Symposium.  Sure bro whatever you say. April 7th and 8th.
Parents weekend. Ooh that's a tough one. The week of parents weekend. Oh yeah
who else has events that weekend?  Anyway so- poultry science.
Did they confirm? Yes they did. All right. Yes. They even reconfirmed their confirmation. Yes
I remember when we did their very first  one they were a lot of fun. I know my dad
apparently went to high school in Dickinson  with one of the poultry science professors
I'm gonna need you to stop talking to walls.  What? You and your knowing everyone. You just
talk to a wall. Basically. Wall talks back. Yeah  I don't know his last name I only know his first name.
Okay then fun story. I met him in another life   Yeah all 20 lives. Different careers  different career different career yeah. Okay so
so next episode I have no idea what we're doing,  are we doing a venue visit next time? Next episode
is supposed to be a venue visit. Woohoo, we  will not give anything away in case it cancels.
Don't ask us who because we probably don't know.  I was going to look at the calendar and then I was  like never mind. Nope, venue visits so we will be
highlighting several places in the community. BCS not just College Station or just A&M. So
I'm looking forward to it. Can we  go to Washington on the Brazos?
Yeah don't they do an event out there like around- all the time. Yeah I was trying to remember if
it was them or if it was a place in Brenham  that did that music festival at some point.   Maybe it's just a- oh Chilifest is happening. I am so not going to Chilifest. No me either but I mean I was just
you said music festival that's the only one I  thought of. It's not Chilifest I think there's
one in Brenham if I remember correctly but no.  Navasota? Birthday Bash that's right because there was
like a high-profile country singer and I was like  oh that'd be fun then I was like well he's old   so I don't really. All the good ones are  old I know it's a little twangy for me.
All right so next episode we're on site visiting  somewhere, mysterious. TJ's gonna sing for us. Yes
if you ever see either one of us in public  feel free to say hi. Yes please do. Don't stalk.
And don't be upset if I don't remember your name.  Like if we've never met you before and you're   just a viewer out on the internet. Yeah probably  have never met you. Yeah well I also in general
I'm terrible with names so like I don't even I'm  not even no I'm not gonna say it out loud okay.   I'm trying to remember his name but we just  hired a new student and I can't remember.
I want to call him James and I know that's not  right. That's not, that's not right. Jimmy. Jimmy.
Jimmy yeah I still haven't met Jimmy. Are you  kidding me? I'm not kidding you, I still haven't met Jimmy.
He didn't tell you hi this morning? No he  said hi to Steven, who was in my office um
I at this point it's more  fun to see how long it takes.
I cannot. Isn't your job as a supervisor to make  sure they're well informed of what's happening?   They are. Or who is who?
He's seen your picture, that's our director.   Which color hair was it? He's seen  your office, I was like this is her office.
This basically tells you everything about her,  she's like me but older and crazier and blonde.
I mean I might agree with like one of  those because I can't help it like just   numerically that's how it works. Blonde? You are  currently blonde. That is true currently yeah
currently. Okay so instead of torturing our fans. Silver fox.
Silver fox? I thought you only referred to men like that? Why not women? Because I don't want to be a fox.   Why not? I don't want to be any animal, I'm a  human, I'm an it. What and what kind of
humans are animals. Let's not. Mammals? Yes.  Yeah, let's stop, that's done. Bye. Bye.
