For this series I am reading to you the short story The Dead Smile by f. Marion Crawford. This story was written in 1911. With a ghastly banshee, a cadaver that's won’t stay put, and an infectious and sinister smile, this eerie novel is a masterpiece of the macabre. This is chapter one.
