Daniel McGhee 0:00
Years ago.

Rich Bennett 0:01
I'm talking about. Years ago, I went to say 2000, 18, 19, I can't remember.

Daniel McGhee 0:08
I.

Rich Bennett 0:08
I had this gentleman on and I had this young lady on just recently, and she wrote another book and she told me that this gentleman wrote the foreword to. It was like, All right, you got to get him on. She made the call that day like, Amen. Which I don't know how you did that because I've been trying to get him back on for a while now.

Michele Love 0:30
Odd.

Rich Bennett 0:30
It's okay. So I have Michelle Love, who's written a new book called Voice A Voice of Truth. Joined by Dany McGee. Who wrote the foreword

Michele Love 0:42
Yes.

Rich Bennett 0:42
for the book.

I would just jump into that first. Why did you ask him to write the foreword?

Michele Love 0:49
It wasn't me. It wasn't me,

Daniel McGhee 0:52
It was

Michele Love 0:53
Scott.

Daniel McGhee 0:53
gone.

Michele Love 0:54
That with me.

Rich Bennett 0:54
Good choice, though.

Michele Love 0:55
And it was. I think, uh, a couple of weeks before I'd finished up the manuscript, I was praying about who was doing the forewords and the Lois Show me three people. I didn't know who those three people were, but before that, he said someone

Daniel McGhee 1:11
One

Michele Love 1:11
had

Daniel McGhee 1:12
had to

Michele Love 1:12
to read

Daniel McGhee 1:12
read

Michele Love 1:12
the.

Daniel McGhee 1:12
the book.

Rich Bennett 1:14
So you didn't know Danny?

Michele Love 1:16
Oh, I knew Danny. I didn't know it was him.

Rich Bennett 1:18
Okay.

Michele Love 1:18
I didn't know it was him.

Rich Bennett 1:19
Okay.

Michele Love 1:20
Pointing to them like y'all can see me.

So I spent a little bit more time. I finished the book because that was priority. And once I finished it, I went through it again.

Daniel McGhee 1:32
Again and again and again.

Michele Love 1:33
To make sure I didn't, you know. Her anybody's feelings in it. But the Lord had given me three names, and one of them was Danny. I still didn't know who was reading the book.

Rich Bennett 1:46
Right.

Michele Love 1:47
And. It was Danny, because when I texted Danny or anything, I texted him and I said, I feel like the Lord is putting it on my heart that that you are one of the people that's supposed to write a foreword for the book.

Rich Bennett 2:01
Right.

Michele Love 2:02
And he. Literally

Daniel McGhee 2:04
And

Michele Love 2:04
sent a message right back saying, I don't do forewords, I'm paraphrasing unless I read the book. I don't

Daniel McGhee 2:10
think.

Michele Love 2:10
think he said it

Rich Bennett 2:10
Which

Michele Love 2:10
like that.

Rich Bennett 2:11
makes sense.

Daniel McGhee 2:11
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 2:12
Yeah.

Michele Love 2:12
But I.

Daniel McGhee 2:13
And for the record, I didn't read the book. I just read the first page in the last page like I do in all the books I read.

Michele Love 2:19
Danny. That makes me.

Daniel McGhee 2:19
No, I'm anti. I'm teasing. But how can I write a foreword on subject matter that I haven't read? You know what I mean? Yeah.

Michele Love 2:27
But I respect. In you, mister. And then I realized at that moment what God had showed me because I journal everything I got every. The journal. His name's in my journal. I mean, everything's journal. And I realized at that moment that Danny was the one who was supposed to read the book. And so I think I forwarded it to you within a few days or a week or something. He told me he was super

Daniel McGhee 2:53
Yeah,

Michele Love 2:53
busy

Daniel McGhee 2:53
And

Michele Love 2:53
and

Daniel McGhee 2:54
I.

Michele Love 2:54
I said, It's okay, no worries. And the rest is history. Were a beautiful forward. And the other two people who wrote forewords, who I've known for many, many years in my life.

They they ended up writing. And I'm not used to having that many forwards in a book. Really, I didn't think that was normal, but it was what God wanted to do.

Rich Bennett 3:16
So there's three.

Michele Love 3:16
There's three forwards in the book.

Rich Bennett 3:18
Oh,

Michele Love 3:18
One

Rich Bennett 3:18
wow.

Michele Love 3:18
of them is Lauren, who is the daughter of the gentleman who has my kidney in the.

Rich Bennett 3:24
Okay.

Michele Love 3:25
The other is Amber, who I worked with in the jails when I did a jail program. Way back when. And. And I are still very.

Daniel McGhee 3:34
And I met Amber at your house.

Michele Love 3:35
Yes, that's.

Daniel McGhee 3:36
That's that's, that's. You know, the Trinity. That's beautiful, though.

Michele Love 3:39
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 3:39
Yeah.

Michele Love 3:40
The number three has always been something in my life. Always. And so I wasn't surprised when the Lord. That it would be.

Daniel McGhee 3:49
These three folks in.

Michele Love 3:50
And I listen to him, I hear and I listen and I never question God.

Rich Bennett 3:55
Yeah.

Michele Love 3:56
I plead with God about things sometimes, but I never question him. And so it all kind of lined up.

Daniel McGhee 4:03
And the kidney situation happened because I invited her to a church service and the people mentioned a kidney needing a kidney. And Michelle, within 2 seconds said, I'll do it.

Michele Love 4:15
He's now he's not connected with the person that I donated to.

Daniel McGhee 4:19
They were up in New Jersey, but it was a family member or somebody

Michele Love 4:21
Alyssa

Daniel McGhee 4:21
that knew somebody. Yeah,

Michele Love 4:22
Campbell

Daniel McGhee 4:23
yeah, yeah,

Michele Love 4:23
That's right. That's

Daniel McGhee 4:25
yeah,

Michele Love 4:25
where that came from.

Daniel McGhee 4:26
yeah.

Michele Love 4:26
It

Daniel McGhee 4:26
And

Michele Love 4:26
was also

Daniel McGhee 4:26
I remember.

Michele Love 4:27
on Facebook because she.

Daniel McGhee 4:28
She.

Michele Love 4:28
Tagged Lauren and then Lauren. Lauren. I saw it right after New Year's Eve.

Daniel McGhee 4:35
But I remember we were in in the lobby of the Abingdon Movie Theater where that church was being held.

Rich Bennett 4:40
Right.

Daniel McGhee 4:41
And I said, Michelle, you know, somebody looking there would be willing to give a kidney. I'll do it.

Rich Bennett 4:47
Wow.

Michele Love 4:47
I forgot.

Daniel McGhee 4:48
You're not going to. You're not going to think about it. Nope. I'll do it.

Rich Bennett 4:51
That's a.

Michele Love 4:51
I had already known that.

Rich Bennett 4:53
Yeah.

Michele Love 4:54
Hard to do it. So he was. I'm so sorry about that, Danny. But I realize that now, looking back, do you see how God puts and

Rich Bennett 5:05
And pieces

Michele Love 5:05
peace?

Rich Bennett 5:06
together.

Michele Love 5:06
Gather.

Rich Bennett 5:07
How did you two actually meet each other?

Michele Love 5:10
You got to tell the story. It's kind of funny.

Daniel McGhee 5:11
Why owned a bail bonds company.

Rich Bennett 5:13
Right.

Daniel McGhee 5:14
On Main Street in Bel Air,

Michele Love 5:15
And I was the president.

Daniel McGhee 5:16
and the wind blew this woman in the mouth.

Michele Love 5:20
I.

Daniel McGhee 5:21
I'll never forget. Had she had black hair. A black one of them black wide brim hats, a black coat, black, everything. Maybe not black, but very dark brown. And I was kind of like spooked a little bit. And then she.

Rich Bennett 5:38
So you were back in the Wild West,

Daniel McGhee 5:40
And

Rich Bennett 5:40
right?

Daniel McGhee 5:40
she started talking about and I had it, you know, because it was so random. And I was so used to having crazy people come into my office. Like when you run a Bill Man's office,

Rich Bennett 5:51
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 5:51
it's all day, every day. And she's I don't even know the the purpose for her coming in my office. I assumed at the time that it was to to get on me about something because. A lot of people that a lot of people didn't appreciate the bail bonds industry. And she started off saying that she was helping women in prison and all that kind of stuff. But it turned out to be like how can we help each other? And I, I say in the foreword of the book that maybe she came in because as with everything else in in this world, there are stereotypes. And the stereotypical bail bondsman doesn't care about people or money grubbing, you know. But I was running a nonprofit, doing charity work, helping people, doing a tour around all these different things. So I say in the book that maybe she wasn't expecting the type of person I was when she came in the office, but we hit it off and then it was like our lives just continually crossed paths since. And I kind of felt cool right in the forward for her because she was a very big supporter. When I wrote my book, she said, Bring copies down, I'll pay for them and then give them out for free in my store. And then she would call me and be like, Hey, I ran out of copies, bring some more down, I'll pay for them and give them out for free in my store, you know?

Rich Bennett 7:05
That explains why I saw his books in your short.

Daniel McGhee 7:07
Yeah. So so I'm never say I'll never say no to this woman.

Michele Love 7:14
Well. No, I don't think so. But also there were people.

Daniel McGhee 7:17
People on Facebook.

Michele Love 7:18
Book that knew Danny and that knew me and what we were doing because I had written a program for the jails. I think I told

Rich Bennett 7:25
Yeah.

Michele Love 7:25
you. It's in the book.

Daniel McGhee 7:27
And.

Michele Love 7:28
And God had woken me up in the middle of the night to write that program called Lam Life Altering Them and break through all the word It's 12 week program. And I was writing this thing not knowing what I was doing with it. And the Lord said, Send it over to all the local jails and Baltimore County to. Jumped on it and they're like, This is amazing. Like, we want this program in here. And so we were putting the word out there through social media. It wasn't as much social media as it is now, but. Because we're talking like.

Daniel McGhee 7:59
I don't know what 2000.

Michele Love 8:00
Evan. It's something like that.

Daniel McGhee 8:02
Yeah. Around there. Yeah.

Michele Love 8:03
Well, something like that. And that's kind of what I'm at, Danny. And people that knew me and the mission that I was on and knew him and the mission that he was on to help people and, you know, get people restored and and things like that, because his mission was way bigger than bail bonds. And I knew that the.

Rich Bennett 8:20
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 8:21
His office. I think I had a word for you or something like this is just the beginning of what God's getting might do with you, buddy. But people kept saying to me, You have to meet Danny Diamond. I think the name.

Rich Bennett 8:33
Dive.

Michele Love 8:33
And I was like.

Daniel McGhee 8:33
I don't know that.

Michele Love 8:34
And this was me. I was like, Danny Damon. I'm like.

Rich Bennett 8:38
Sounds like a wrestler, right?

Michele Love 8:40
But I'm like Michelle love. So. Times. Be very Miss Can. And I'm like, Yeah, Michelle Love and Danny Damon. I'm like, Is this guy for real? So I started

Daniel McGhee 8:49
Just

Michele Love 8:50
to.

Daniel McGhee 8:50
don't don't Google Danny Diamond.

Michele Love 8:52
We're not going to give that. He's Danny McGee now.

Daniel McGhee 8:54
I'm pretty sure there's.

Michele Love 8:55
He's always been.

Daniel McGhee 8:56
There's a famous drug dealer from New York with that name.

Rich Bennett 8:59
Oh, God.

Daniel McGhee 8:59
There

Michele Love 9:00
In.

Daniel McGhee 9:00
is. Gay porn star.

Rich Bennett 9:02
She's.

Michele Love 9:03
Wrong. Danny Diamond.

Daniel McGhee 9:04
When I had that name on Facebook, I remember I got into a political argument with somebody and like a lot of people do, they ran my name through the Maryland judicial database. But they didn't rent as Dan Daniel Diamond, and they came up with a pedophile down by disease.

Michele Love 9:20
Oh,

Daniel McGhee 9:20
And I, I

Michele Love 9:21
my.

Daniel McGhee 9:21
had I had to explain that one to.

Rich Bennett 9:23
While.

Michele Love 9:25
Well, anyway, so.

Daniel McGhee 9:27
Can I get Let me finish that thought real quick.

Michele Love 9:29
Go ahead.

Daniel McGhee 9:30
So so the the Danny dime was a decade old thing from from nightclub promoting a former life. I decided to keep that name all through bail bonds because I didn't want people knowing my true identity tracking down my address. You can plug anybody's name into Maryland Judiciary. Find out their address. You can find their parents address. So I decided to just run with the alias. Now, as soon as I got out of that industry and I got into the professional real estate industry, I started carrying my real name again. But that that's why I carried it. I mean, it was corny from the start, but I decided to mask my true identity. Yeah.

Michele Love 10:06
But I did look him up and I did find some of the.

Rich Bennett 10:10
So you look at

Michele Love 10:10

Rich Bennett 10:10
the

Michele Love 10:10
looked him up. I mean, when people send me a person, I don't just go. I didn't

Rich Bennett 10:14
right.

Michele Love 10:14
go in your office that day because what God had been doing with me was was amazing. And I was not about to bring in some kind of critter. Kind of. Roy, what guy was doing so and I'm looking at his profile picture and I'm like.

I'm like, Lord, does he even know you? That's what I kept asking God. And then I'm telling you. Me going to his office was him.

Rich Bennett 10:41
Yeah.

Michele Love 10:42
He's like, Today we are going to. I don't even remember the name of it.

Daniel McGhee 10:46
Freedom fighters.

Michele Love 10:47
Freedom fighters. That was and I'm like, okay. And I had been at the jail and I had meetings all day because we had a nonprofit, and it was just kind of getting crazy. Because I we didn't just go into the.

Daniel McGhee 10:57
The jam under the bridge.

Michele Love 10:58
Program, we took inmates to recovery homes. I'm sure Amber

Daniel McGhee 11:02
bridge.

Michele Love 11:02
might have told you the

Daniel McGhee 11:03
Yeah.

Michele Love 11:03
story.

Daniel McGhee 11:03
Yeah.

Michele Love 11:04
I had to go to court. So that particular day I was in court all day with an inmate getting them to a recovery home. So all the pieces had to happen. And inmates were actually. Remanded, I think is the right word to me. Nobody else. They were coming from jail. Go take off your your jumpsuit. You go with Reverend Love and you go where she's taking you. But I had documentation. I had signed letters. I had sponsors. People sponsor these people to go into these recovery homes. So this was not just a me going to.

Daniel McGhee 11:37
Bible study in the

Michele Love 11:38
The

Daniel McGhee 11:38

Michele Love 11:38
trail wasn't what it was at all. It was way more than that. And remember, they.

Daniel McGhee 11:43
Do the men.

Michele Love 11:45
Let me rephrase that. That did not so good. They asked me to teach the men the land program first. Reverend ever.

Rich Bennett 11:53
Yeah.

Michele Love 11:53
That I ever knew of. They told me I was the first one ever to go into a classroom. I had full clearance, I had badges. I went in, in pods and I went in. I went in all over the jail and I wasn't nervous. I told you the story about the.

Rich Bennett 12:07
Yeah.

Michele Love 12:07
I went in there it was crazy with.

Daniel McGhee 12:08
The men.

Michele Love 12:09
And so this program was bigger than you know. And, you know, we got thrown out by the new warden

Michele Love 12:18
The only thing they could track it back to was the LAMB program.

Daniel McGhee 12:22
Wow.

Michele Love 12:22
We want the the the program of the year again. He whispered in my ear when he gave me a handshake, which I refused to shake his hand. You'll be done soon. And I was like, I knew it was coming.

Daniel McGhee 12:34
Wow.

Michele Love 12:35
So anyway, I checked him out because what we were doing was really important, and I was.

Okay.

Daniel McGhee 12:45
You still might need one one day, I.

Michele Love 12:47
You know, I was in jail if you read the book.

Daniel McGhee 12:49
Yeah. Well, I wanted to say this real quick, so because we didn't, you know, we haven't touched base since years ago when we did the podcast

Rich Bennett 12:57
Right.

Daniel McGhee 12:57
on, on Chasing the Flawed Sun and that book was self-published and I, and I just ran it through Ramadan, word of mouth, and it's sold over 100,000 copies. The jail. No, I was a frequent flyer in the Harvey County Detention Center. I mean, I spent years in that place. I was I probably did.

Rich Bennett 13:14
By all of.

Michele Love 13:15
I looked him up. I looked him up. It's true.

Daniel McGhee 13:16
I did over 20. I've been all over the state in different jails and prisons. But I did, you know, Harford County was my home. I did over 2020 incarcerations there. All the CEOs knew me, all that kind of stuff. But they contacted me and bought 60 books.

Rich Bennett 13:32
Wow.

Daniel McGhee 13:33
And gave them out to the population. And then the librarian, who was the librarian in the nineties when I was in there that I used order books through, contacted me and said, We are doing book clubs with the inmates. And they're finishing your book. And we want to know if you would come in and surprise them as a guest, as a guest, author, speaker. So I came in and did that. I think three different times at the end of the book study periods, I came in and surprised the inmates and spoke to them.

Michele Love 14:04
That's awesome.

Daniel McGhee 14:05
And in the new wing of the jail, they had some kind of drug program that they had become in on a couple of occasions and speak to the inmates. And when I was in the detention center in the nineties, there was heroin wasn't what it is in Horry County. You couldn't get a Tylenol. I mean, there was nothing there was no treatment. There was no nothing. They brought any meetings in or AA meetings and maybe once a week. But now I was walking in there and they had this entire wing set up for drug addicts where they were doing yoga and arts and crafts in this whole. And I came in for their graduation and Sheriff Gaylor came in and spoke to them. I spoke to him. It was absolutely Gaylor came over, shook my hands, were were on good terms, were buddies, and was like.

Rich Bennett 14:49
Showing that they care to.

Daniel McGhee 14:50
Not only the evolution that I've went through, but the evolution that this entire county has gone through well, probably this entire country now, because it became so widespread and it started affecting people's family members in in positions of influence. But either way, the the change has been great and dramatic. I'm sorry to cut you off about that, but I.

Michele Love 15:10
Word I got this week was convert.

Daniel McGhee 15:11
Conversion.

Michele Love 15:13
Nation and revelation souls. And that's exactly what happens. That's exactly what we're being called to right now.

Rich Bennett 15:19
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 15:20
Conversion, transformation, revelation. And that's all around Jesus Christ. That's all around what our lives were, what all of our lives were. Sharing that with those who cannot come out of the depths of hell. And then watching before your very eyes. The conversion, the transformation and the revelation of I am free.

Rich Bennett 15:44
Mm.

Michele Love 15:44
I am free and Christ, I am a new creation. Old things have passed away, and if people could just grasp that contract, that's like the crust of the book, I think is the whole book is Jesus.

Rich Bennett 15:58
Yeah.

Michele Love 15:59
The whole book is, Look, this is what I went through in life and I'm still going through in life. And but I took on the that word that says old. Hathaway addiction. Being abused because I was definitely.

Rich Bennett 16:17
The

Michele Love 16:17
Full

Rich Bennett 16:17
trauma.

Michele Love 16:17
of abuse in.

Daniel McGhee 16:18
In my life.

Michele Love 16:19
Still am I still go through it and looking at all of this in a different perspective and then looking at folks that came out of it. Like Danny, and that's what drew me to him The minute I walked in those doors. It was like the Holy Spirit was.

Daniel McGhee 16:36
Saying he.

Michele Love 16:37
He's a special one. He's a special one.

Daniel McGhee 16:41
Special. All right. You are.

Michele Love 16:43
You're on the short bus. Yeah, I just get.

Daniel McGhee 16:46
You know what?

Michele Love 16:47
I just get it.

Daniel McGhee 16:48
I want to I want to say and we're probably going to get into all this. The voice of truth and truth. You can't, in my opinion, you can't speak the truth unless you are the truth. So. So the truth. There's, you know. With social media, it's so hard to discern the truth with the news, with all the lies and everybody, each side, every side is is is giving you a different version of the truth. And none of it's really the truth. And then I think back, though, to to before social media, when maybe there was only one or two voices that gave us the news and all that or that wrote books and claimed to be authorities on subjects, they were the only thing we heard so they could manipulate the truth to just as much as as we can. But the truth you know it when you hear it. The young people say they talk all the time about a vibe. I get a vibe from somebody I get. But you feel when you hear the truth, you feel the truth. The truth to me is like a feeling. So when somebody has been through something and they open their up, they've evolved and they open their self up. Like we have vulnerability and we we are the truth. So it's a whole different.

Michele Love 17:57
Truth is in us.

Daniel McGhee 17:58
Yeah, just like just like addicts. When they go to rehab, they don't want to hear somebody that wasn't an addict teaching them. They need somebody that's been through it. Somebody that's been abused doesn't want to hear something from somebody. You know, you have to be that truth to speak.

Rich Bennett 18:09
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 18:10
Truth I believe in.

Michele Love 18:12
Agreement with.

Rich Bennett 18:12
I agree with you 100% there and I.

Michele Love 18:14
How can you speak about. You haven't been through.

Rich Bennett 18:18
And that's just.

Michele Love 18:19
And I mean, I. Some people do.

Rich Bennett 18:20
True.

Michele Love 18:21
Get me wrong.

Rich Bennett 18:21
But you can tell, and I'm noticing since I started talking more about recovery and everything. You can tell it. I don't think I've had anybody on here that's in recovery that has lied about But when you hear two stories, you could tell they're telling the truth because it will bring tears to your. And I can't.

Michele Love 18:42
Remember.

Rich Bennett 18:43
Oh, yeah. I can't.

Michele Love 18:44
You came out of it.

Rich Bennett 18:45
Times.

Michele Love 18:46
You never forget the moment.

Rich Bennett 18:48
Oh.

Michele Love 18:49
That hurt you the most?

Rich Bennett 18:51
Well, no, I mean, but don't make I mean, I could tell they're speaking the truth because they're making me cry just hearing their stories.

Daniel McGhee 18:57
Now you'll hear a lot of embellishments.

Rich Bennett 18:59
Well,

Daniel McGhee 18:59
Let me

Rich Bennett 18:59
you.

Daniel McGhee 18:59
go sit in the rooms. And for some reason, when people get clean, all of a sudden they get a huge ego. And they were the biggest drug. Every sex addict was the biggest drug dealer on the East Coast and, you know, the toughest guy in the world. We were all junkies and, you know, bottom feeders. But but, you know, I mean, it's the truth. It's the truth. What is it? People get mad at the word junkie, but it's junk. We were shooting junk. We were junkie, just like an alcohol person abusing alcohol as an alcoholic. I mean, you call things what they are, but.

Michele Love 19:27
That's good. That's good word. That's it coming out of that the depths of.

Rich Bennett 19:32
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 19:33
Know, and we're all in different. Well, you know, and and not understanding where you came from is part of the problem.

Rich Bennett 19:43
Hmm.

Michele Love 19:44
And and for me in the book, when I was in, I mean, I was addicted. Bad relationships. I grew up not really understanding relationships. And if you read the book.

Daniel McGhee 19:55
Look. You understand?

Michele Love 19:55
Damn. Why?

Rich Bennett 19:56
And.

Michele Love 19:59
So my addiction was

repeating. That cycle and then bringing kids in it and and hurting my kids and hurting myself. And I desperately, desperately wanted to just be free from myself because if you think about it, self the flesh. Is what's causing the behavior.

Daniel McGhee 20:28
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 20:29
It's.

Daniel McGhee 20:30
But.

Michele Love 20:30
That's your copy to us.

Rich Bennett 20:31
Thank you.

Michele Love 20:32
There's three enemies in the world. The devil, the world and the flesh. Those are the three enemies in the world. Those are the three things that pull us from truth, from life, and God's way

Daniel McGhee 20:48
If

Michele Love 20:48
of doing

Daniel McGhee 20:48
doing

Michele Love 20:49
things.

Daniel McGhee 20:49
it.

Rich Bennett 20:49
Right.

Michele Love 20:50
And until

Daniel McGhee 20:51
And.

Michele Love 20:51
I learned that in my journey in life, I didn't know what to do with myself. So I kept repeating the same behaviors and I kept causing more, more and more issues for myself.

Rich Bennett 21:06
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 21:07
And in the journey. It was a lot of pain, a lot of

wanting to exit because I couldn't get it.

Daniel McGhee 21:18
Right. You know, the toxic relationships are exactly like drug abuse. Exactly. I watch friends I watch friends in recovery go through these toxic relationships. I said, do you realize it's a drug? You get a good feeling when you get that good feeling and you want it more.

Michele Love 21:35
But then.

Daniel McGhee 21:35
But you go through all that pain and all that and you want out, but you can't get away from it. It's the same exact thing. It kicks off the serotonin. When it kicks off the serotonin, and then you withdraw when the times are bad and you go through it. It's exactly the same. I mean, relationships are just like a drug. Yeah.

Michele Love 21:51
mind is a battlefield. When you're in the thick of the abuse, the addiction, the sin, whatever it is, the mind is playing tricks on you. Like they'll get better or one more drink not going to hurt you or you know, it's just this time. And

Daniel McGhee 22:10
And

Michele Love 22:10
then

Daniel McGhee 22:10
then

Michele Love 22:10
you

Daniel McGhee 22:10
you.

Michele Love 22:10
start believing the lies.

Rich Bennett 22:12
Mm.

Michele Love 22:12
So the lies start to get into your head. And that's what happened to me on my whole journey. Like. Like I was believing the lies of the enemy who goes around looking to kill, steal and destroy. And I couldn't shake it. I couldn't shake, you know, not. Not I thought I was all the things that had been spoken over me for so many years. I was believed.

Rich Bennett 22:36
Leaving.

Michele Love 22:37
That I was a reject. I was not worth anything. I was not.

Cared for, I. Nobody wanted

Daniel McGhee 22:47
It

Michele Love 22:47
me,

Daniel McGhee 22:47
may.

Michele Love 22:48
you know, and, and growing up through those things of feeling I'm an outcast, I'm just an outcast. I'm not pretty enough. I'm not skinny enough because, you know, I went through all that stuff, you know, and and I never really grasped where it was coming from, but I never really thought I'd ever get out of it.

Daniel McGhee 23:11
So did you have to hit a rock bottom to.

Michele Love 23:14
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 23:14
Yeah, exactly. It's. It's the same. You have to. You're not going to change until it gets so bad that you have no choice but to change.

Rich Bennett 23:21
Yeah.

Michele Love 23:22
Yeah, because you either die or live.

Daniel McGhee 23:24
Yeah. And.

Michele Love 23:24
And that's when God pretty much stuck his hand out and said.

Daniel McGhee 23:28
And that's when.

Michele Love 23:29
Follow me because I'm the only one that can free you. And when I accepted Christ, it's been now I think I. Two, 2000. One, 2000, two, something like that. I was radical. I mean, I say it in the book, but I mean, I was dating. I was seeing a married man. I was running a business. I was smoking. I was drinking. I was. I was not being. And he he literally went, All this is dead. And I was radical. Like I sat.

Rich Bennett 24:03
In the sanctuary.

Michele Love 24:04
Wary of the church. Just praying about all the things. And I'm like, Let's just deal with it. All right? Now I just want to deal with it all right? Now, God and God's like, you couldn't handle that, you know? And I'm

Daniel McGhee 24:15
In my time.

Michele Love 24:16
Just please. And so he's. Dealing with me, with things, with my mom, with things, with the mistakes I was made. I literally left. Yeah, I was in there for, like, 6 hours. Just. Just. Somebody gave me a.

Rich Bennett 24:28
A Bible.

Michele Love 24:29
I found a piece of paper. You all these nodes. And I was sitting on the floor and I was just crying, crying, crying. And I'm like, I just want to be different. I just want to be loved. I remember just saying that.

Rich Bennett 24:41
Yeah.

Michele Love 24:41
Love is someone. Somebody to love me. And I know I'm trying not to cry now, but. And it was the most amazing moment because he just was like, pouring, pouring this love on me. And it was the voice of truth.

Just saying.

Daniel McGhee 24:58
You're my.

Michele Love 24:59
A daughter. You're. You're. You're important. You're the love of my life. You're, you know, and the next. Now you're good. And the next day, I

Rich Bennett 25:11
I ditched

Michele Love 25:11
ditch the

Rich Bennett 25:12
the Mary.

Michele Love 25:12
marriage.

Daniel McGhee 25:12
And I literally.

Michele Love 25:14
Called him and said, I am a new creation in Christ because that was one of the first scriptures I learned. He's like, What are you talking about? I'm like, Look, we're done. Don't come near my house. Don't come near my business. I'm blocking you on every I just and everything that was in my life that was not of God. I became the voice of truce on.

Daniel McGhee 25:36
Almost.

Michele Love 25:37
Overnight.

Rich Bennett 25:38
Yeah.

Michele Love 25:39
To things and people and people I made people get out of my life. I started having a new mindset and.

Daniel McGhee 25:47
And you know. And I still.

Michele Love 25:47
Still stumbled. There's still more stories because I wasn't you know, I didn't have it all going on.

Daniel McGhee 25:52
Mhm.

Michele Love 25:52
But at least at that, at that moment, I started to.

Rich Bennett 25:56
And the.

Michele Love 25:56
The. The truth. I started to understand why I needed to read the Bible to change. And when the Lord kept saying I could appear and in my spirit that night old.

Rich Bennett 26:10
Things.

Michele Love 26:13
Everything, Michelle, Up until this. Moment is gone. You have to live like it's gone. And I was like.

Daniel McGhee 26:22
She's.

Michele Love 26:24
How am I going to.

Daniel McGhee 26:24
Do that.

Michele Love 26:25
And he was like, me, me. My son took everything on the cross. Michele, everything that you've been through up until this point and there's going to be more and we got to deal with more. My son. You need to forgive. All that's happened. People things. But you also need to forgive yourself.

Rich Bennett 26:48
Absolutely.

Michele Love 26:49
It was a challenge for me that's in there.

Daniel McGhee 26:51
Here in

Michele Love 26:53
Time with that one.

Daniel McGhee 26:54
the States. It's frustrating and sad that we humans have to go to the depths of hell to find God. But that's what makes the relationship.

Rich Bennett 27:06
Stronger.

Daniel McGhee 27:07
So maybe not. Now, let me let me say that not all of us.

Rich Bennett 27:10
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 27:12
Some I don't know how, but they just naturally they were born in the church or whatever, and they just inherited that relationship. But some of us are a little more hard headed, but we come out with an insane relationship with God after after we find him. You know, I couldn't have done it any other way. I'm hardheaded. I had to get whipped and beaten and broken and, you know, left. Hopeless. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 27:34
Dany, when you read this the first time, what was your first thoughts and what? Because I'm sure you probably learned something about Michelle that you didn't know about.

Daniel McGhee 27:43
Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely.

Rich Bennett 27:45
No.

Daniel McGhee 27:45
It's just it's an incredible, enlightening book. And it's

Rich Bennett 27:47
Mhm.

Daniel McGhee 27:48
it's uplifting and it's it's just renewing your faith in God over and over again. I mean, God speaks through Michel. Like I

Rich Bennett 27:54
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 27:54
told I told you that before we started this podcast. I suffer from depression and anxiety horribly. And, you know, I mentioned this in the forward. Like. One of my first instincts when I was having a breakdown, I didn't want to live anymore. And let me be clear. They come for no reason. It's not.

Rich Bennett 28:12
Right? Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 28:13
It's not because I'm going through something. It's just something.

Michele Love 28:16
Here it.

Daniel McGhee 28:17
It's something that I've battled my whole life and it's why I use. But my first inclination I hadn't even spoke to Michelle in two years is good Mama Michelle's and that Michelle pray over me. She just pours out that spirit and that throughout this entire book, throughout her story, throughout everything she says, you just feel it.

Rich Bennett 28:35
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 28:36
Guess what? It's the voice of truth. And like I said, you can feel it. Somebody.

Anybody can speak on anything. Anybody a bad person can speak about doing good. But it's that vibe again. It's that feeling. You know, it like, you know, when somebody is actually speaking the truth,

Rich Bennett 28:54
Right.

Daniel McGhee 28:55
like it's just and you can feel it throughout the book. You can feel. I mean.

Rich Bennett 29:00
You feel it once you meet her?

Daniel McGhee 29:01
Yeah. Yeah.

Michele Love 29:03
It's. It's him.

Rich Bennett 29:04
Yeah.

Michele Love 29:05
That's been the number one text. Gmail and Facebook and Instagram messages that I've been getting lately is I'm in depression. My daughter's in the Depression. My son's into. The person who created this cover was based on the woman who took this picture. I can't tell the story yet because.

Daniel McGhee 29:27
She wants to.

Michele Love 29:28
With me. Her name is Dawn Fitzgerald. Her main name is Love, and we're not related. The story behind this picture, because a lot of people

Daniel McGhee 29:36
Submitted

Michele Love 29:36
submitted pictures

Daniel McGhee 29:36
picture.

Michele Love 29:36
for the book, for the cover, because that's how we do the covers. Don't we have people do them that we that are local and you know and the cover was based on suicide and depression, which was my story. And that's how this became the cover. He and I knew it the minute she told me her story. It wasn't actually her story. It was someone else's. I knew that was the cover. I'm like, Oh, well, then you.

Daniel McGhee 30:03
You know what? That's the.

Michele Love 30:04
Cover.

Rich Bennett 30:05
Yeah.

Michele Love 30:05
But that's been the number one.

Rich Bennett 30:07
One.

Michele Love 30:08
Requests for prayer. And when I explain to folks I just sent out a prayer yesterday for a friend of mine's daughter. It's a spiritual battle, depression. And I think I've told you this before, and when I see things on Danny's post, I just put a little reminder and I'm very short, sweet and to the point, or I'd do a flat out break out prayer for him. That's what killed like a spirit of depression is there's a spirit of suicide that's roaming around. And

Daniel McGhee 30:38
Oh,

Michele Love 30:38

Daniel McGhee 30:38
for

Michele Love 30:38
know

Daniel McGhee 30:38
sure.

Michele Love 30:39
because

Daniel McGhee 30:39
For

Michele Love 30:39

Daniel McGhee 30:39
sure.

Michele Love 30:39
have. I had that he saved me from that. Thank you, Jesus. But I had that I attempted. I shouldn't even be sitting here. And these are spirits that we have to bind and then loosen.

Rich Bennett 30:53
Mm.

Michele Love 30:54
Because the enemy member he comes to.

Rich Bennett 30:56
Kill.

Daniel McGhee 30:57
And destroy.

Michele Love 30:59
Kill your life. Steal your life. She.

Daniel McGhee 31:01
Sure your life.

Michele Love 31:02
And anything that has to do with your life. Why? Because we have a call in our life. That's why my story is so. I mean, there's probably more to my story than this, but I thought I could fit in the book. Your

Rich Bennett 31:13
Lee

Michele Love 31:13
story.

Rich Bennett 31:13
leaves room for another book.

Daniel McGhee 31:14
I'll say I'll say this.

I'm a writer. It's what I enjoy, and I think I'm a pretty good writer. So what I like to do is take people through a gamut of emotions. So chasing the fall is on, especially was a roller coaster, and I want to take people into depression and pain and hurt with me. I want to take people in the hopelessness with me. I want to take people through those uplifting moments.

Michelle could tell the same story.

Rich Bennett 31:42
Mm hmm.

Daniel McGhee 31:43
But there's an uplifting vibe through the whole thing, like we could tell both of our darkest times. But she's speaking in an uplifting manner. Like everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Michele Love 31:53
It's getting everybody to him

Daniel McGhee 31:54
Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

Michele Love 31:55
that

Daniel McGhee 31:56
Exactly.

Michele Love 31:56
this. About. And I have several people.

Daniel McGhee 31:59
People that are sending me messages

Michele Love 32:00
Those

Daniel McGhee 32:00
that

Michele Love 32:00
that

Daniel McGhee 32:00
have

Michele Love 32:00
have

Daniel McGhee 32:00
been.

Michele Love 32:00
been reading it and they can't put it down because it's a flow read and it's you pick it up. Georgie started reading and he was. Wow, This is just flowing. And

Rich Bennett 32:10
Yeah.

Michele Love 32:10
two people texted me and

Daniel McGhee 32:11
And

Michele Love 32:12
said,

Daniel McGhee 32:12
said this

Michele Love 32:12
this is like you're talking

Daniel McGhee 32:12
thing to

Michele Love 32:13
to me

Daniel McGhee 32:13
me.

Michele Love 32:13
like I can hear you talking to me in this book. And because it's just point blank and the thing and this was this was God waking me up when I thought we finally did the cookbook, which took me. Two months, but people are like, That's it. And I'm like, This was the longest two months of my life trying to write that book. And. And then one morning I'm like, okay, we're breathing. It's published. Well, it's too. It's out there. Okay.

Rich Bennett 32:42
Just get your that.

Michele Love 32:45
A laptop. To write the story. I'm like,

seeing people and. Names You're not going to. Get the get the laptop. Well, the finger I mean, I wrote this in two weeks.

Rich Bennett 33:00
A lot easier to write.

Michele Love 33:01
I wrote this in two weeks and I was like, Go. And I cried. I mean, there were days when I was like, I can't go any further. I'll stop write down, you know. Show me is like. Because we haven't dealt. And I'm like.

Deal with with that thing. But he.

Daniel McGhee 33:22
He was.

In Narcotics Anonymous. In Alcoholics Anonymous. There's a fourth step where you do a personal inventory of all the things you've done in your life. In my book, what

Rich Bennett 33:31
How.

Daniel McGhee 33:32
my book was like that. And then. And then. And then? Then the fifth step is that you sit down and you read it all to your sponsor, and then you burn it or whatever, so nobody else can read it. But that's exactly your book. And my book. And it's funny, you know, it's the same therapy, it's the same therapeutic tool. So you you got through some stuff writing that book just like I got through. Write mine

Michele Love 33:52
Did you

Daniel McGhee 33:52
and.

Michele Love 33:52
cry and stop and be like, Holy crap.

Daniel McGhee 33:55
I don't I don't think that I cried, but I went into a dark depression like I. I even felt like cravings for drugs and alcohol that I hadn't felt in years because I was so vividly remembering this darkest time.

Michele Love 34:07
It took.

Daniel McGhee 34:08
That's.

Michele Love 34:08
Right back to that.

Daniel McGhee 34:09
That's. That's why I flew. That's why I went to Costa Rica in rainy season to write my book out in the jungle by myself with no temptation, because I didn't trust being around here with access to all the worldly trappings. While I was going into those dark places.

Michele Love 34:24
When you were writing them.

Daniel McGhee 34:24
Yeah, but what I what I thought was funny was what you said. George said because I was reading your book on my laptop out on the deck, and, you know, Alicia came out and she's like, What are you doing? And I'm like, I'm reading Michelle's book, but I'm not really reading it. She's talking to me. She's like, Because it is it's like you read a book, she's having a conversation.

Rich Bennett 34:42
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 34:43
Yeah, Yeah,

Michele Love 34:44
Was him

Daniel McGhee 34:44
yeah.

Michele Love 34:45
as I sat at the key.

Rich Bennett 34:50
You know.

Michele Love 34:50
Now and then. Rather than an hour. An hour. And I was like. But then I pause like we were saying, You get to those times

Daniel McGhee 34:58
time.

Michele Love 34:58
where you're like, And there were times when things that I had forgotten. Did you go through that? Like things that I had forgotten?

Daniel McGhee 35:05
Vividly things that I had

Michele Love 35:06
Oh,

Daniel McGhee 35:06
forgotten.

Michele Love 35:07
my.

Daniel McGhee 35:07
A phrase.

Michele Love 35:08
Lord took me right to that place. Right to that moment. Where my spirit was crushed or where I rose up. And

Daniel McGhee 35:15
And

Michele Love 35:15
he

Daniel McGhee 35:15
he

Michele Love 35:15
kept showing me

Daniel McGhee 35:16
me.

Michele Love 35:17
like this vision of me in different stages in my life with his hand above me. Like it was a vision I kept seeing it all through.

Daniel McGhee 35:25
To write this book.

Michele Love 35:25
Book. And he was like, I was with you. You didn't. You didn't know that. But same with him. God was with us. And I remember talking to him one time. Saying to him, it might have been the first time we met. The Lord has always been with you like He's always been with you. And we just didn't know it. We knew it. Something was.

Daniel McGhee 35:43
We weren't getting what we wanted out of him at the time, so we didn't know, you know.

Michele Love 35:49
But yeah, it's. I'm just kind.

Daniel McGhee 35:51
What we thought we wanted is what

Michele Love 35:52
We did and we didn't know.

Daniel McGhee 35:53
you.

Michele Love 35:54
You know, and we're when we're in the thick of the the darkness and the depths of hell. And you immediately like when I got arrested.

Rich Bennett 36:04
Mm hmm.

Michele Love 36:04
I was like, Why?

Rich Bennett 36:07
It's.

Michele Love 36:08
Like, what is happening? Right now. And that story's in Why? Why?

Daniel McGhee 36:15
They took me

Michele Love 36:16
To

Daniel McGhee 36:16
to

Michele Love 36:16
the

Daniel McGhee 36:16
the

Michele Love 36:16
commission.

Daniel McGhee 36:16
commissioner.

Michele Love 36:17
Commissioners are making an example out of you. And I'm like.

Rich Bennett 36:20
Wow.

Michele Love 36:21
Wait. What? What? Happening. And I remember they put me in this this dark hole, and I was shackled from the feet and behind my back, shackled like I was like, I've never I got I got a few speeding tickets. I beat them all. Go.

Rich Bennett 36:39
So you had no idea?

Michele Love 36:41
My ex-husband set me up, man.

Rich Bennett 36:43
Why?

Michele Love 36:44
Devil in his face. He knew the cop. And, I mean, I was shackled until I got to DC. That's how the ministry started.

Rich Bennett 36:53
Wow.

Michele Love 36:53
Cause I sat in the car. I was praying in the spirit. I was singing songs. I thought, this police officer is to kill me. And he kept banging on the thing, going, Shut up. And I'm like, And the Lord kept saying, Man, I was saved. I was saved and sanctified. This was back in I don't remember when it was it didn't work. And I said, Lord, I promise you, I will come back to this jail and I will do a ministry if you get me out of this mess.

Rich Bennett 37:22
And lo and behold.

Michele Love 37:24
Seven celebrations. There were all the stuff he. I was only in there for like 12 hours.

Rich Bennett 37:30
Right.

Michele Love 37:31
My parents had to bail me out. Okay. This was my older brother. Not mine. This is not nobody ever thought in a million years. Michel. Ever end up Iraq. But there was a purpose for all of it. All.

Rich Bennett 37:46
If you only knew a bail bondsman

Michele Love 37:47
I.

Rich Bennett 37:47
at.

Michele Love 37:51
I think my parents. To get one. I don't know who they got, but my. In the in the where they send up, they send up this little tiny elevator.

Daniel McGhee 38:00
We're talking about back in like the sixties or seventies. All right.

Michele Love 38:03
No.

Rich Bennett 38:04
Oh, man.

Michele Love 38:05
That was hurtful.

Rich Bennett 38:06
Wow.

Daniel McGhee 38:08
This short bus.

Revenge.

Michele Love 38:11
Okay. You got me back.

Rich Bennett 38:13
Sir Dany mentioned that when he was reading the book. It's like you were talking to him.

Michele Love 38:17
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 38:19
So is it going to be in audio form so you can actually talk to the people?

Michele Love 38:24
That would be interesting. These.

Daniel McGhee 38:25
You should do it with your own voice, too.

Rich Bennett 38:26
Yes. You have the equipment at home.

Michele Love 38:31
Oh, me. I meant to bring it to you. Show me how to use

Rich Bennett 38:33
Oh.

Michele Love 38:33
it.

Daniel McGhee 38:33
You have the equipment right here. I regret that. I regret using somebody else to do my voice for my.

Rich Bennett 38:39
You can redo it, though.

Michele Love 38:41
So it's.

Daniel McGhee 38:42
I did the audio.

Michele Love 38:43
So. Oh, gosh. Read the whole book. Read the whole book to people.

Rich Bennett 38:48
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 38:50
I mean, I guess somebody added it. You're obviously going to make mistakes and have to go back over certain parts, but. It's relatively easy

Michele Love 38:56
That's

Daniel McGhee 38:56
from

Michele Love 38:56
interesting.

Daniel McGhee 38:56
what I've been told.

Michele Love 38:58
I. I'm learning to be more tech savvy.

Daniel McGhee 39:01
Could you imagine all these? Listening to your voice while you drive.

Michele Love 39:04
Going crazy.

Rich Bennett 39:06
Okay, so.

Michele Love 39:07
Okay, That's good. can do that.

Rich Bennett 39:09
You have the. You have the cookbook?

Daniel McGhee 39:11
Yes.

Rich Bennett 39:12
Yes. Voice of Truth.

Michele Love 39:13
Yes, there's three.

Rich Bennett 39:14
You have the children's book, huh?

Michele Love 39:16
Three more coming.

Rich Bennett 39:17
Three more voice of truth.

Michele Love 39:18
No.

Rich Bennett 39:19
Or three more books.

Michele Love 39:21
Through my books.

Rich Bennett 39:21
Three more books. So I know the children's book.

Michele Love 39:23
So one of them. I'm coming up.

Rich Bennett 39:26
Why did I just have a vision of a collaboration? You and Danny.

Michele Love 39:32
Writing a book.

Rich Bennett 39:33
Yeah.

Michele Love 39:37
That could be scary. The dark in the light? No.

Rich Bennett 39:40
Don't.

Michele Love 39:41
I just

Daniel McGhee 39:41
Hey.

Michele Love 39:41
get.

I'm just kidding.

Rich Bennett 39:46
The doctor delayed on the short bus in the black hat.

Daniel McGhee 39:49
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 39:49
Right.

Michele Love 39:50
Giving me. Things. When he told me about the children's book, Rich gave me that, and

Daniel McGhee 39:54
Yeah.

Michele Love 39:54
I was like,

Oh. I said, Hmm, Interesting.

Rich Bennett 40:00
Well, because.

Michele Love 40:00
And then I realized after I prayed about it why God would want that, because there's there's some other books coming out for our kids. That are not God's work.

Daniel McGhee 40:12
Oh, I can't even imagine what.

Michele Love 40:14
There.

Rich Bennett 40:15
I said after I met you, which I just been having all these

Michele Love 40:18
He has

Rich Bennett 40:19
things.

Michele Love 40:19
a lot.

Rich Bennett 40:20
My head.

Michele Love 40:20
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 40:21
Then when I met, I don't know if you know Sean Miller's or not, He.

Michele Love 40:26
The name sounds from.

Rich Bennett 40:27
Here in two Little Caesars in Harford County. But he his thing is giving back to the community. He his goal is to give 1000 pizzas away this month. So yeah. And he and his wife have fostered, I think he said, 12 kids.

Daniel McGhee 40:46
Wow.

Rich Bennett 40:47
They have six kids now, so they can't foster anymore.

But it's like he said, this was just. Something that God told him he had to do.

Michele Love 40:59
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 41:00
And then I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, which is funny. She said, Rich, I need to talk to is it okay? And she said, Don't laugh. But it's like I had a spiritual awakening, whatever. And it's Erica WOLOSKY who she says, you know, you, as I said, need to do a roundtable podcast. How two of them how to listen to God and how to talk to God, because a lot of people don't know

Daniel McGhee 41:25
Eric is awesome.

Rich Bennett 41:26
she is.

Daniel McGhee 41:27
They were trying to figure out how to come on my mission trip in February, but I don't.

Rich Bennett 41:30
Oh, really?

Daniel McGhee 41:30
Taken in.

Michele Love 41:31
That last person.

Daniel McGhee 41:31
She was taking a new position and.

Rich Bennett 41:33
Yeah.

Daniel McGhee 41:34
Ask for time off that soon. But. Yeah. Yeah.

Michele Love 41:36
Did you get it filled?

Daniel McGhee 41:37
Yeah, I in fact, I filled it with two people, so I got to figure my way out of that.

Rich Bennett 41:42
To do emissions. You're

Daniel McGhee 41:43
But, you know, I always I always you know, if there's 14 beds, I sign up 16 people and two always end up dropping

Rich Bennett 41:49
right.

Daniel McGhee 41:49
last minute for some reason or another anyways.

Rich Bennett 41:51
How often do you go?

Daniel McGhee 41:53
Just just once a year right now, But

Rich Bennett 41:55
Really?

Daniel McGhee 41:55
I'd like to dial that up a notch. We're talking about some things. I, I see myself eventually buying a house down there and running, like, several a year.

Rich Bennett 42:06
In Costa Rica.

Daniel McGhee 42:06
Yeah. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 42:08
Think a friend of mine just moved there. You may know her page.

Daniel McGhee 42:11
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 42:12
I think

Daniel McGhee 42:12
Yep.

Rich Bennett 42:12
she just moved there. So really,

Daniel McGhee 42:14
Why?

Rich Bennett 42:14
why is everybody moving away? Well, I know I've.

Daniel McGhee 42:18
Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's who we could work with in.

Rich Bennett 42:23
Oh, that's right. It amazes me. Post up everything you're doing. Dan, there's.

Daniel McGhee 42:29
And this is this is kind of a selfish trip. I mean, because we don't we you know, I've led 17. No, I've been on 19 mission trips. I've led 17 and we I did Peru, I did Haiti, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, after the hurricane, you know, all these different places. And those trips were you go around, you work six days the last day you get a break and then you fly home. And this I designed because I was going to Haiti and Haiti was in tents like absolute. I can't even talk for hours about how horrible it is down there. But then COVID hit and they shut down all the airports everywhere. And then they had shot the president in Haiti and the gangs took over and are running the country. And now they're kidnapping missionaries. And it's just.

Rich Bennett 43:15
God.

Daniel McGhee 43:16
Is to I'll go anywhere myself.

Rich Bennett 43:17
Yeah,

Daniel McGhee 43:18
You know, if God wants me to die tomorrow, I'll die tomorrow. But I can't. I'm responsible for these other people, so I'm not taking anybody to Haiti.

Rich Bennett 43:25
right,

Daniel McGhee 43:25
So then I said, Well, what can I do now with the airports? One shut down. I said, Well, Costa Rica is like my second home, and I've always had a vision. Way back then, I wanted to do heroin to Haiti, where I took a bunch of recovering addicts who were like 60 days clean, 90 days clean that never did anything selfless, that were living in halfway houses, fighting over who drank the milk in the fridge or, you know, all these petty things, not realizing what they have. And and so that that was my vision. But I decided I was going to do it in Costa Rica, but I was going to take him down for half mission trip, half vacation.

Rich Bennett 44:03
Right.

Daniel McGhee 44:03
So that way they get to serve. But they also get to see what's out there in the world and experience something besides Baltimore, Maryland. And but they're not, you know, people I want to go. I want to go. I want to go. So I just open it up to everybody. The first year I did addicts, strictly addicts, but now it's just open to anybody. But I try to take people who have limited experience outside of the country because because for me, selfishly, my favorite thing in the world is to play tour guide is to show things and things I've found, like I look forward to this trip so much because I love the look on people's faces when I take them places and show them things and just it's that's, that's what I like, but.

Michele Love 44:42
Shin is so beautiful to.

Rich Bennett 44:43
Yeah, it is.

Daniel McGhee 44:44
So we so we go down. We it was a seven day trip. Well, six days on the ground, but I extended it to seven on the ground. So we only served three out of the seven days. The other times we're doing fishing and waterfalls and beaches and four wheeling and all different kinds of stuff. You know, it's a double.

Rich Bennett 45:03
I could sit there under the waterfall all day long.

Daniel McGhee 45:06
Yes, sir.

Rich Bennett 45:07
It's just another bet going out.

Daniel McGhee 45:10
Best back massage of my life.

Rich Bennett 45:13
The waterfall.

Daniel McGhee 45:14
You sit on it, I think pounds on your back. I sit under there, there's this, there's a when I go to the.

Michele Love 45:19
Neither. That's a good point.

Rich Bennett 45:21
It may wash the hair off of my head there.

Daniel McGhee 45:25
We go to this one waterfall, it's like it's like four different waterfalls. But there's one. It's like the depth of a pool and the water just pounds. You just sit there. It's like sitting in a little

Rich Bennett 45:35
Jacuzzi

Daniel McGhee 45:36
hot

Rich Bennett 45:36
with.

Daniel McGhee 45:36
tub with water, getting a massage at the same time.

Rich Bennett 45:39
I have to try that. I have to go there and try. I'll put chia seeds.

Daniel McGhee 45:41
I'll settle.

Rich Bennett 45:42
And see if that works.

Choo choo choo choo choo choo choo rich.

Michele Love 45:48

Rich Bennett 46:53
Well, if there's anything else that you like that, go ahead. Because, you know, hey, you have to end this. Just like you did the last time. That's right.

Michele Love 47:02
In prayer. The only other thing I would love to say is that the mission is giving hope through the spirit, through the church. Which is the Word of God, and the whole book is based. To guide the whole book and how much we need God in this day and age, you know, and everything that's going on in the world, in the nation. There's nothing that doesn't get past him. Nothing gets past him. And if you truly believe that God is in control

Daniel McGhee 47:38
Not only

Michele Love 47:38
Only your life, the lives of your loved ones, then you truly believe that God is in control of every

Daniel McGhee 47:45
single

Michele Love 47:45
single aspect

Daniel McGhee 47:46
aspect.

Michele Love 47:47
of living this life. A nation, the world, all that stuff.

And we have done many lives over the past few months. The Lord put it on my heart. About a month and a half ago to go live on YouTube and Facebook. To talk about being a voice or being a voice of truth. It's all word. It's all. Going through the Bible. And. It in a way where people can actually understand it and apply it to their life. And the lives have been circulating all around and people are like, I've never heard the Bible spoken to like this. Like the way that Michele speaks the Bible. I've never heard this, but she speaks it. And it's not me. It's God.

Rich Bennett 48:36
Yeah.

Michele Love 48:37
She speaks it in a way that I can actually understand. I understand now what is being said in these words, because a lot of people the Bible is confused.

Daniel McGhee 48:47
But

Michele Love 48:47
It's

Daniel McGhee 48:47
it's

Michele Love 48:47
not.

Daniel McGhee 48:47
not.

Michele Love 48:48
It depends on the version you get. Like get a version that.

Rich Bennett 48:51
I can understand, right?

Michele Love 48:52
I did the message for. Because it was point blank. It's ice called the Bible for Dummies because it was point blank and I could get it and I understood it. The Lord switched it up and now I'm in the new King James version. I've been in this for for a while, but get a Bible like don't let anybody tell you, Oh, you only know. You can only read the King James version Well, thus sayeth is hard for my little brain to comprehend. The words are hard. For my.

The words are hard for my brain to comprehend. King James version. That's me. But the old timers are like, No, only King James. And I'm like, That's for you. Because you're. The Bible is between you and God. You have to receive how you want to receive. And if your heart is open, just read it. But get a version that you can understand. You can get the Bible on your phone. You can listen to it in your car. You can listen to our message. A lot of people send me messages saying I listen. Your live the other night all the way into work this morning because it connects right to your phone.

Daniel McGhee 50:00
They have a Bible you can wear on your neck now and you can read it with a microscope.

Michele Love 50:03
I saw the. It's a necklace.

Daniel McGhee 50:06
It's got the entire Bible

Michele Love 50:07
Is this

Daniel McGhee 50:08
hidden.

Michele Love 50:08
the entire Bible in this necklace? I'm like, I'm never going to see that, But that's okay. But hey.

Rich Bennett 50:13
Is this thing like 22 foot long?

Daniel McGhee 50:15
No, no, It's a tiny little.

Michele Love 50:17
Little tiny thing.

Rich Bennett 50:18
Wow.

Michele Love 50:19
Take a microscope. You can.

Daniel McGhee 50:21
You have to

Michele Love 50:21
Yeah,

Daniel McGhee 50:22
really.

Michele Love 50:22
it's kind of crazy. I don't think I would ever go there because I think I would

Rich Bennett 50:24
Probably

Michele Love 50:24
get

Rich Bennett 50:25
comes in audio version, too, but it looks like Pearl. You're not mad. I'm sorry. Go ahead.

Look, you told us to

Michele Love 50:33
To

Rich Bennett 50:33
be.

Michele Love 50:33
be good. So I'm going to end this in prayer right now. Danny,

Daniel McGhee 50:36
But.

Michele Love 50:36
do. Say, I pray.

Daniel McGhee 50:38
Now. Go ahead.

Michele Love 50:39
I'm just so grateful for this opportunity with these two amazing men. Thank you for Danny coming on. Thank you for Rich running this program. It's so full of so full of hope in life. And I hope you all receive this message today. I hope you all can can if you pick up the book. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you something in it will strike you and something in it will pierce your heart and something and it will change your disposition in your own life. I know it. There will be healings they'll be receiving of what God has for you. There'll be revelation and there'll be conversion. Is my prayer because God is it at least, at least I hope you know that that he's it. He's all we need. He is our everything. And no matter what you're facing in life, God has you. He has me. He has all of us. Just believe, believe. And you also can be a voice of truth. Once you start hanging out with him, talking to him, reading his word, praying you will begin to change and old things will begin to pass away and you will become a new creation. So thank you, God for your Word and thank you that your word in us is the voice of truth. We love you, Lord, and we're grateful. In Jesus name, Amen. And agreed.

Daniel McGhee 52:07
Amen.
