Eh

Let me start by saying I really enjoy Ashley Flowers. She is intelligent, well spoken, and has a voice made for podcasting. She gets to the point and I appreciate the fact that she sites her information in the show quite often.

However, I think the small amount of back and forth between the hosts adds nothing to the show. I think Brit just makes up questions to ask Ashley just to have something to say. Her questions and comments are never thought out or come across as intelligent in anyway. Her voice and constant shocked sighs take away from the show. This is not a personal attack on Brit, as I am sure she is intelligent and wonderful in real life but that does not come across on the podcast. Podcasting is a job (for some, obviously), and some people just don’t have the voice or personality for it, just like some people don’t have that classic “radio voice”. This is voice content so it’s important to have a voice that is acceptable to the audience.
