I am only leaving an actual review to counter-act the reviews of a select few. It appears that Brit is as essential to this podcast, as her friendship is to Ashley. They play well off of each other and she (at least for me) serves as the communal consciousness of the listeners. I appreciate her questions, her points of facts and the humanity she brings along to the (extremely well-told) stories.
Some people argued that they’re insensitive, and I find that far from the truth (which, I realize is subjective). They are humane. It’s a mix between journalism and natural human conversation. They make you question all sides of a story and are empathetic to racial, gender, or lgbt biases.
(Sidebar: Their theme music is great! The entire podcast is ridiculously well-crafted.)
***UPDATE: This is consistent issue that solely happens with this podcast. If I pause and come back to it, it no longer plays. It just stays in rendering mode. I’ve had to delete the entire app and redownload to get it to play again.
Again, it’s solely with this one channel.
