As the Associate Chair for Administration in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Franklin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our discussion.

With a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, Franklin's journey started in the UNC hospital labs. He progressed through roles in the Quality Department and eventually managed five hospital-based clinics within the healthcare system. He is currently serving as Associate Chair and holds a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the Emergency Department meets and expands its clinical, educational, and research goals. Adding another layer to his impressive portfolio, Franklin is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at UNC Charlotte.
