Dr. Branner, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina and brings over 20 years of industry experience to academia. With a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she previously held roles as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America and worked as a chemical engineer with The Dow Chemical Company. Katrice's research interests center around small business operations management, reflecting her passion for advancing knowledge in this field. Her extensive background in industry and academia uniquely positions her to contribute valuable insights to the discussion on transitioning from corporate careers to academia. Dr. Barzuna, is an Assistant Professor at Queens University of Charlotte's McColl School of Business, and brings a rich blend of industry and academic experience. With over a decade in accounting and financial analysis, he transitioned to academia after earning his DBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research delves into the cultural aspects of entrepreneurship across diverse global contexts. Prior to his current role, he taught a variety of business courses at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Dr. Barzuna Hidalgo's expertise lies in entrepreneurship, data analytics, and operations management, making him a valuable resource for this discussion.
