Give an example of a design mistake you made & how you handled it?
How do you prioritize a design project?
These are fair questions to ask a potential design hire. If answered honestly these questions will give you real insight into the person's style and how they handle a project. With that knowledge you can decide if you want to work with them on what is a very personal project ~ your home.
