The perfect show for Trekkies AND Newbies

This show rules! I should start my review by admitting I’m not as well versed in the Star Trek franchise as most people in the fandom. But that’s what makes Deep Space Love so fun to listen to! Obviously knowing all the trek lore would be beneficial but Joe and Nicky do an amazing job of giving context to every episode and I never feel like I’m missing out on anything. Focusing on romance in the Trek universe is such a great idea and sheds light on an aspect of the series that I don’t hear discussed as often. My favorite episode is definitely the one with the sex candle. They probably could’ve gotten a funnier guest but Jean Luc fighting a horny ghost is always a win.
