Welcome back to another nostalgic trip down 90’s memory lane. For Episode 87 I’m kicking off my Disney Renaissance 5 Part Episode Series! The 1990s marked a significant chapter in Disney history because the animated films produced from Walt Disney Studios during this time were all massive hits.

Episode Highlights

The Disney Renaissance era brought a revival to Disney animation with its musically driven plots and new animation technology.
The Little Mermaid, released in 1989, was the first Disney movie to utilize the computer animation production system.
The Rescuers Down Under, released in 1990, was the first Disney film to be fully digital.
Both movies were part of the Disney Renaissance era and contributed to the success and revitalization of Disney Studios.
