Ep 3: F**k Cold War!

Ep 3: F**k Cold War!

What is love? Oh baby, don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me, no more. Oyoyoy. As the two watch 'Cold War', Sean painfully discovers Giannis’s true loves: pretentious black and white foreign films and communism. The title of the movie might be cold war, but trust me, this war is HEATING UP! Okay, I'm recording. Yeah. All right. Okay, cool. Now I think in order to get in sync we should sing bad boys. So 321 bad boys bad boys. What do you what are you going to do? What are you going to do when they come for you? Oh, this is terrible. I just saying what I'm saying. I it is that my laugh? Are you trying to do my your it does. Danny it doesn't work when you're delayed. I fucking hate you. Yeah. All right. Hello. Welcome to fuck your opinion. A podcast a movie review. Hello. Hello Hello Hello and welcome to fuck your opinion a movie review podcast hosted by yours truly Sean and my friend Jani. Shut up. No one wants to hear for you. Wait, what the yo starts with a G. And the word and yeah, in the words of our movie. My reaction to that is oil. yoy. What does that mean? Is that is that something specific? Or is that? Water? Well, here, let me ask you this. What does that direct? Does that directly translate to something? I'm not talking about the song. I'm just saying that consistently. We'll talk about later. I would think that's just me going off the Bollywood stuff. But generally when they do stuff in the dances, it actually doesn't mean anything. And people want to put interpretation and stuff where it's just a dance move. Anyways. Anyways, let's get to this. So this week, we watched a movie. Jani. Do you want to say what it was? Because you picked it? Yeah. Oh, here's a really cold one. It was there was a lot of snow. I wasn't gonna say anything about the snow. And thank you for Thank you for calling me smart. I appreciate it. The first compliment you've ever given me. You've never said that to me. What, what's what size is my foot? Do you even know? What's my foot size? No, no, that is right. That's completely wrong. Folks. Folks, Don't listen to him. He's just being a dick. Anyways, do you have the structure in front of you? I don't even have it. I just have my notes. This Yeah. Yeah. Okay, cool. Okay, so so Yani two questions. Why did you do pick that? So yonni two questions. Why did you pick this movie? And what would you rate it? How do you feel about it? So the reason I think this movie two decades. Love your opinion. Great, great opinion. Just kidding. Pocket pocket. Fuck your opinion. He said the thing he said the thing fuck your opinion. You can't say much more about okay. The whole but the hope that the whole podcast is to talk about what you think and use the saying you can't talk about what you think. Okay, I I will stop cutting you off. Continue directing and editing, just simply the facets of this film. I will I will, I guess, with the narrative, which is in terms of purpose, the characters living in a huge part of this movie, and we'll get to that later. But quite Is that what you're gonna do every time? I 9.0 9.5 I gotta go with the decimal. Because you may have such a. I don't know if you remember. So folks, this is actually not the first one we've recorded. The first one we recorded was once upon a time and the West. And my good friend Jani said, Oh, I'm going to hit you with a surprise. I'm going to go with a decimal in my writing 9.5. So what you're telling me, but I don't know. We don't know. Yeah, we don't know what order we're releasing this. And in case this is the first one. Yeah. On the table. What do you think? Wow, spot on. I doubt it, but Okay. Great. Well, great here for you Jani grant opinion on whatever this is. Anyways, let's move on. Let's move on to the summary of the film. Or sorry, summary of the movie. So yes, so, so listeners, listeners, listeners. This is a bit of an in joke. And I need to cue you in because this is just going to be a reference that's going to go on and on and on throughout the whole podcast. Yes. So essentially, my friend Jani and I, several months ago had a very long debate about what the finds yes about what defines a film versus a movie. Jani felt very passionately about one side. Jani, would you like to describe your or going to a little short description about your side? distinction is sort of the sort of the ultimate want to do. So that's why you just called called war movie. You just call it a movie? I gotcha. I gotcha. Do it. No. Do you need Do you need a pistol or do you need some pills? Ah ha, ha ha. Yeah, yeah. Mm hmm. Yeah. And I on the other side, I on the other hand, don't really feel that there should be as much of a distinction and a difference between the two. I understand Yannis point but at the same time, I love movies. I love films. I think it's a synonym, I think to say one is better than the other by making that distinction is just unfair to others. I love I stop. Let me finish. I love big budget funds, summer blockbusters, those are my go twos. Those are honestly some of my top films of all time some of my I have them on my top 10 List of My personal favorites, so to say Oh, because that fits into more of the definition of a movie, that it's somehow lesser in that regard. I just, it really irks me. Yeah. So what you're saying is that I can put bad boys on a pedestal above Cold War? No, no. So it's the core of everything is what you're saying. Everything revolves around bad boys. So what you're saying. So what I'm getting for you is that bad boys is complete is integral to the survival of the human race. That's what I'm getting. Yeah, so yes. So Plot summary. Just that we want to give a basic description of what the movie is. Jani. Would you want to do that? Or do you want me to do it? Okay, Cold War? How do I how would I summarize this movie? Okay. After an attempt at Poland's gone, wait, sorry. After an attempt at Poland's Got Talent gone wrong. After after an attempt at Poland's Got Talent gone wrong. To quote unquote lovers realize that every decision they make is a bad one and end up killing themselves. The Yeah. Yeah, that's, that's certainly something. Yes. Great, cool. Well, let's get into this. Let's get into the quote unquote story of the film. I try to think so is this you want me to basically do what you did with bad boys pick out things that I hate? And then you have to defend them? Is that what you're trying to bait me to? Do? You want to curb stop by points? Wow, smoking like a real friend. Let's see. What don't I like about this story? Yeah, well, that's the thing. Like I feel like my my issues are more so with character. But that's also a bit the story. So I don't know. I don't know. Exactly. That's why it's a little hard to talk about story without, like, it's hard to talk about story without really just focusing on the characters. Do you want to talk about that first, or would you rather talk about direction or something? Because I feel I summon a lot. Yeah, yeah. No, I am doing a little deliberating right now. So I'll say that I our argument that we had before is going to be in a to a degree you know, because I just everything I want to say about story is going to relate back to character. You know, Do you want to just talk about start with directing and cinematography and all that jazz or do you want to just get into the heat of it with character and story? Okay, sure. Okay. Well let's just start let's do character and story. All right. Fine, let's do what you said. Okay, Jani will go ahead and lead us in for I think it's good it's very it's always in this constant state of motion fluctuations and like with the kind of like a visual poem now on the surface level no proposal 15 years they want to know when they realize they can't actually be the world paper this whole thing The world is too superficial to reject something that they feel now that's just at the surface level that's those that are using raw a stripped down version like I said, it begins with the company that you will be drawn to applying to and ultimately totally because something might become again something very pure on the sub level because that you're so passionate about I got it I got it. It just turns this movie turns you on. It's like this is your porn. I got it. Separation but visually. I mean, you see whenever one of the first something of a country, people have human beings taken out to continue living without without their culture without some sort of fire. So you can play. I mean, maybe to be honest with you, I don't really care what they symbolize what I care about is who they are as people. And the decisions they make. And I i'm not saying that they aren't characters, but I felt like they weren't. A I didn't find them particularly compelling. What I constantly felt was they were never happy with the situation they are in, ever. No, I'm not. I'm not saying Yeah, but I'm saying every time. I mean, in the beginning, when they start, when they start their relationship, it's doesn't even feel authentic. It just feels like, Hey, I'm attracted to you. Let's do this. And that's fine. But then for Victor to leave, is it Victor or wiktor? So it's Victor. So when Victor leaves, goes to France, and then after that, he's like, oh, man, she's the love of my life. I can't I can't think I can't do anything without her. I'm like, buddy, you almost totally ignored her before. Where did this come from? Because we have so few scenes of them really together. The the scene scene? Where was it? Right. It was right before it was when they were outside, and she wanted to the lake and everything. And they're just not talking at all. And I understand that scene is complex in its own kind of way. But But what, but then there's also the train scene where they just I understand that, but I, I i understand communication is both body language and speaking, but it can't be 80% speak. I mean, it can't be 80% body language, and 20% speaking and the speaking is just not I guess what it comes down to partly is when I watch a romance in a movie that I find compelling. I generally find it compelling when the characters fall for each other through dialogue in some kind of way. where none of that was here. It was just, hey, you're hot. I I'm, I'm your superior. Let's go for it. You know, like it was? Maybe that's, that's just how I felt. Maybe you could certainly argue the other way. Or another Why? Yeah, but yeah, but I don't you know, I don't really, I I'm very, but you know what, in a movie or a film, I don't particularly care what happens in the in between, and in the interim, what I care what I want to know, well, what I care about is, what am I seeing on the screen? What is happening right now, to give you not an example from this movie, but for something else. My roommate is big into the lore of Game of Thrones. And when we watch the show, he would often talk about all this, the backstory of this guy is this. This is this and this is so much more compelling because of this. And I would say to myself, you know what? That's great that this character is far more complex than the show realized. But you know what? I Judging this based off of what I am being presented right now because all of us the thing about Cold War's that allows spaces that allow you to move the question. But you move to the dance. I'm not, I'm not saying you can't figure it out. What I'm saying is, I don't feel that I don't connect to that. You can you can have ANC and say, hey, you're gonna figure out B. But you know what? I didn't have B, I didn't experience B, I didn't see B. So you know what? I don't really care about B. That's. I mean, even if they give you another example, not this movie, because I know if I say anything about this movie, you're going to come at me, man of steel is another movie where you have and it's not. The narrative is a bit all over the place. But you essentially have young Superman young Clark, right. Yeah, young Clark cat figuring out stuff. And then you have Superman later, but you don't have the him grown into it. him learning. So you know what? I don't really care about older him because I didn't see him figure that out. Similarly, not really one. And I haven't when he's a kid, but then you jump to older Superman, like, Hey, you, you, sorry. No, you. Sorry. You, you Yeah, you jump to a guy who has a lot more understanding of his powers. I just Sure. Maybe it's not the best example. But I still feel like you need to have the bits and pieces. You can't just take out things. Say, I'm assuming you will figure this out. Because I again, I need to connect with him. I need to go on the journey with him. And I did not connect with them. No, you don't. I was paying attention. Just because. But just because that's the intention doesn't mean that's the result. And that's not the result of me. No, listen, listen, I there are plenty of slower things that I really like and plenty of things that you would not expect. Oh my god, it's not about a lack of understanding. It's about a what is actually there? What is the content just because you can just you just because you can put an interpretation on something doesn't mean that's necessarily what it is or what the director intended or that the movies as smart as what you're thinking it is. And I'm not saying that this movie is or is not smart. But what I'm saying is that that that by having those slower gasps that doesn't make it Oh, man. You know, this movie is so smart because of that, or this movies trying to say so much. But I don't think it's human. I think I think the way it's human and relatable is that neither of the characters are ever happy with where they are. They keep thinking that something else will bring them happiness. They I don't even think they're soulmates though. vc every I did not see that. And I don't feel that way. I don't agree with that. I guess that's your interpretation of it. Oh, yeah, sure. That was what was intended. I did not. I did not feel that though. I again, I never felt like they really were in love as much as they were in love with the idea of each other. And when they actually were with each other, they had issues. And now I get what you're saying, when they're just alone? That's different than say they're at that party or something or other. But I think maybe, maybe they have something but you're describing as like some kind of ideal romance that I don't think it is. I No, they're just compatible enough. That's really all I think it is. Also, kind of like stepping into character boundaries. Whatever. That's really all there is. Yeah. By the way, now that we're now that we're talking about it, longest the 100 longest hour and 20 minutes in my life. Figure out what's great about it. Slowly. Oh, ay. ay. ay. Ay ay. Ay, I noticed how slowly moved. I noticed. People have poetry work together with us two completely different moments. Then we say it together. But when you try to rip them apart, just like the wind. See, here's the thing. Remember those separated together? Well, let me move on. Let me look, speaking of notes as you were speaking about before, or as you were talking about before, let me read off some notes. I Have anti La La Land very little chemistry got got 20 minutes and took a nap Yeah, that's right. I fell asleep if you want me to shock you right now you know a movie I really liked hunger. Steve McQueen No, we're not talking about No, I'm not trying to compare. I'm gonna cut that bit anyways, I just say it's not it that to say, oh, Sean just likes the constant action the constant stimulation i think is a bit misleading. I I don't even remember talking about it with you. I'm sure we did. Anyways, see? What like the movie? our conversations just go one in in one ear out the other. Anyways, another another note I have not your daddy's Kool Aid your great great granddad. He's not that you know what? Okay. Because Because, you know, they say it's not your dad's whatever, whatever, when they're trying to update something. You know, like, Oh, this is not your dad's Robin Hood. It's updated thing, right? It's not It's not your dad's Cold War. It's your your great, great, great granddad. Because that's how far back it goes. You're welcome. I exhaust you like this movie exhausts me. This is why I took in that. I like how she got married and immediately said, fuck that guy. Yeah, because we want to talk about our Oh, wait. Oh, wait. way. So she was just married to that one guy the whole time? I thought it was two different marriages. He's Italian. But she was. Yeah, no, I'm no, that's what I'm saying the guy in the middle of the film that we don't even meet. It's like, he was important. He would. Well, he was important to me. And we never met him. But you see, using my imagination. I imagine what their storyline was like and how that whole thing. I wrote a whole story about that about how this guy he really loved her. It was an actual romance. She just used him. And then he killed himself right after because he couldn't be with her. Hey, hey, hey, hey, Victor does plenty of that too. Don't Don't discredit him there. Her. I wasn't sure in that particular moment. But I felt like often times, I mean, I get it. It's must to sell your books out to the Communist Party to try to go back Well, okay, okay, okay, well let's talk about that real quick. That was just stupid. Why? Why the fuck did he go back? But I mean, she basically says, I they're just both very petty and childish, whatever with whatever big decision they make. Like, I she's she she's in Paris and I'm not trying to speak highly of the French I would never do that. But French friends I love your fries and I love your toast. That's the point. You have some good movies. And you have a lot of movies. I also did not like yeah, I'm sorry, you're an easy joke, but you know you are anyways Like I said, I will not speak highly of the French. But for her to be like, well, for her to say, you know, I just want to go back to Poland. I hate being in France. I just I i understand that living in LA I understand that. But that does not make me go You know what, I want to go back to home and in New Jersey, where life was so much better. I mean, I have maybe she went on a vacation while she was getting molested. Maybe maybe the Italian husband maybe they went on vacation. She dumped them there this is what I have to have the skills required. Yeah, that's why she goes back because well, yeah. Yeah, who else felt bored out? This guy? I am just with the guy who was just like, Why the fuck do you want to go back to Poland? You're not a Polish citizen. You don't like it? No one wants you there. That is a very bad and then he immediately we don't see the scene obviously. But to go from that to Oh, he's. He's in prison. makes me go Wow. Okay, well, maybe. But I don't need any I don't need to know either. It just makes me it. It makes me go. Well, you know, you didn't realize you were just a musician and maybe not James Bond. Well, I have one good thing there are consequences in this movie this movie Oh, okay you want to go there you want to talk about it quiet as I was gonna talk about the ending of the movie we What were you What did you think I was gonna talk about? No I'm bored by it already. Anyways so the ending Jani Can you please I know you talked about a little bit before but please tell me more about your thoughts on the name and why they did that so I think it's a very loaded if you're not able to walk in the house and understand the place being that the police being Poland's Got Talent the relationship between returning to a church earlier won't even look up all the way see you I guess what I would say is if for me feeling because I felt like there was no chemistry between the two. And I didn't feel like they're authentic. Sorry. And because I didn't feel that their relationship was as authentic as you felt I since that is really the driving force of the movie if you don't feel that it's not gonna work. And if you do it is so by me not feeling that when I got the end, I was just looking at the screen. I wasn't sure what was going on. But when I realized I was like, Wait, what? What What the fuck? And just got so angry. Not not because I cared but because I was just baffled by the decision. It was all over too complicated for that. I think I just explained why it's not that it was complicated. It's just, I my my my read of their characters is totally different from yours. Speaking of speaking of pacifier next week, on funkier pin, we're watching Wendy's hosts the pacifier one of my top 10 of all time, Oh, I was emotionally affected but again I was just angry. I think you're angry. No, absolutely not. You're not gonna Sure. Yeah. Yeah. So directing. Yeah. I thought the directing there is a route Well, I know this is a to fall. It's not just directing. But cinematography. Yes, I know. That's our category directing cinematography and adding. So, looking at all three of those directing cinematography and editing, specifically the directing the cinematography, I understand why this film was nominated. For Best Cinematography, right. It was best. Yeah, it was best director Best Cinematography, and I believe Best Foreign Film, right. I understand. I don't agree with the best director, but I understand the Best Cinematography, it does look pretty. It looks nice. I'm sorry. Have you seen the artist? That was sarcastic folks. That what that was that that was a joke. That was a joke. I need to rewatch it. Because I really love silent film comedians, but I got into them after I watch the artist, but anyways, black and white films do not get better than 12 Angry Men. Or Buster Keaton's. We're talking about? photography. No, I'm talking about I'm talking. I'm talking about cinematography. Oh, oh. Oh, now. Sure. Thanks. Thanks. Anyways. I think it's solid. I think it's good. I think it deserved to get nominated. Well, I also you know, you know, what, did start to wear on me the fact that he was constantly giving his actors had room in mediums. Just so much I after I listen, after the first couple times. I said to myself, This is good. This is unique and interesting, but deserved. But then when we got that cafe scene, and he did it, I just said to myself, this is not necessary. There's nothing going around up top. You didn't need to have the app top right there. It's not about emptiness or not, it's just the alright is it that is it the void between me and how much I care about this movie? Is that what it symbolized? Oh, you know, if you did that halfway through this movie, I wouldn't have mind. I say please just end it. Yeah. Okay. Can you say that again? Can you say that again? You kind of fucked some of that up? It's segment Michels. Exactly. Victor slaps her she says, Now we're talking messes with the way we will touch it. Welcome to the second time it's just looking at bypasses not going to last you know also extends longer than actually does your pauses. Because, and listeners if I keep this in, I just want you to know, I constantly have to cut Giannis pauses. He has so many pauses, I will I will say, I definitely mess up my wording much more often than him. He is much more eloquent. But my God, man, your pauses are just brutal. But your your, your your, your your, your being emotional in a positive way is like a monotone Professor talking about politics. Or you just go I it seems like he's passionate, but it's hard to it's hard to feel that. Oh, no. We're doing that video by Johnny. I don't know how to break it to you. But I I see you and you don't see yourself and it doesn't get any better. The visuals of you saying these things? It's really just I guess sometimes you put your arms in the air a little bit. But that's about it. There's no it's not like there's a ton of facial expression going on that I really go oh man. That's that's what really completed it for me. Like See, I gotta say your your your passion definitely comes through when you hate something. Not when you like something And that's that that's a that's a good description of the movie where both these characters, I guess sure they're in love because they definitely don't look it. They definitely just look plain most of the time, I guess to you that's love based off of your facial expressions. Just because the director or the writer forces that upon them doesn't mean that it worked out just yet. Yeah, I knew that. Oh, what's his name? Pablo, Pablo. Well, Pablo, if you do listen to this podcast I do also apologize. I, I apologize for perceived insensitivity towards the topic. My back and whatever. That doesn't matter as much to me. But I apologize for the instance that instant, I apologize for the instances I've been taking. I apologize for appearing to be insensitive towards your parents. At the same time, yeah, you can't have your cake and eat it too. It's one way or another. What I'm trying to say is, there's often times when I'll watch a movie, and I'll say, you know what, this isn't necessarily bad. It's just not for me. That's where I that's what I kind of felt here. Where I didn't necessarily think it was a bad movie. But I've gotten to a point in my life, and I've watched enough stuff that I knew going in and was not surprised that I wasn't a fan of this. Oh my god, did you not? Did you not go into bad boys? Did you go into bad boy saying, oh, man, this is gonna be great. I'm gonna have such a good time. RDB go you're not you fucking liar. Barton Lawrence, I'm so sorry that Jani shits on you more than I shit on the French? No, yeah. I might have actually seen the first one when I was like in fourth grade. But it was at a friend's sleep over and I was I think I was falling asleep. But when you know when a movie is on, and you just you love movies so much. Even when it's not a great one. You just can't go to sleep. You got to listen to it. That's what happened. The I was trying to fall asleep. The other kids were watching this movie and I just I really want to sleep. But I can't not turn off my curiosity for the movie. So I listened to that was awesome. I don't believe you. Is this real? I haven't seen that movie in such a long time. Damn. Sorry, I don't get your racist jokes. What's the topic? What does that have to do? But what is that had to do with Martin Lawrence? Nothing. This is like trying to do a Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. You're like, you got the first degree and you're trying to make me get the fifth without any of the other degrees in the middle. What the fuck. It's such an obscure joke. That's a bad it's a bad one. It's a bad it. He didn't have enough setup but it was a bad one. But not as bad as bad boys. Bad boys bad boys anyways. No, no, I met bad in the good kind of bad way. Yeah. Cool. Thank you. So where were we? Oh, yeah. Oh yeah. Oh boy. I just want there's a lot I know what I wanted to bring up. So you're talking about what what's the character's name that totally sells himself out? Okay, so there's a scene that I just found I understand why is there but I was like wow you Really? I knew you were a good person but wow that really cemented it was right after the final musical performance when cosmetic or whatever his name is, is holding his son and then zula runs past passed to Victor. Now I get that oh, I haven't seen him in a long time he's been through a lot, etc etc etc. But you're like fucking up your son. No, no, I think it's so sad. It's really sad. It was awesome we've been trying to go for something like that. But it's just I don't think he could make it so yeah I feel bad yeah, he was a little bitch. He was just like oh yeah, we could we can do your propaganda. Let's do it. Go Go Stalin. Yeah. Oh, I just know I get it. I am not fuck you. I'm voting for Bernie. I swear to god if Biden gets the nomination, the democrats are fucked. I'm cutting this by the way. They are fucked. A lot of democrats are just democrats are just a bunch of fucking dumb in fighters. Now, but republicans at least and we've talked about this and there's all getting cut, at least at least or at least the republicans are willing to sell themselves. If it means Oh, we can we can win. The Democrats like No, no. It says hey, Yes. Okay, I did, there was a really great scene that I really loved. So it's about 15 minutes into the film, when one of the guys is trying to hang a poster or a flyer. And then he he screws up and falls and Kazakh discos fuck. It's a very comedic funny little bit. No, that was the only one. Like what? I literally do not remember that at all. I'm saying that's the moment I mentioned is the only moment I really said I liked this movie. The only time That's it, guys. And they put that some of the music I liked. And I I the music. Music was good. The dancing was nice. It was the production design was spectacular. That was very well done. didn't make me care for the characters anymore. But yeah. I was hoping you were gonna say it was a real style and poster that they've that they found somewhere as the sole guy was just like, Oh, yeah, I just got it in my garage. Now that would have been a story for me composite it. I mean, okay, sure. Yeah. token space from the speakers almost three times. has to be something he says he's just so Jani is just so flustered by the movie. He's lusting after it. He's just, he's so in love with it. That he just has no words. I I will say you know what, Jani? I don't want to talk too much about your physical appearance. But you do remind me of him. You do look like you have? No. They were. She definitely was far prettier than him. I'm not trying to sorry. I'm trying to put you down. I'm not trying to put him down. He was just tall and had a good frame. You know? Thanks. When When did he have a sense of humor. He didn't make what he had no. take it apart. Try to explain to How is that it's kind of funny, but he's just so suffering. Well, first of all, that adds to my point and my feeling overall of how they really are not soulmates, and they don't have chemistry. But but but but. But the more specific point that you mentioned that he had a sense of humor, how in the fuck is that sense of humor? How you can you can we can disagree about whether they were in love. Sure, and I can understand your point. But there is no way and how you can say he had a sense of humor. That's just the stupidest shit I've ever heard. I mean, but this, this specific moment you just mentioned, there is. That's not that's just him overlooking as you explained. That's not a, I have a sense of humor. I okay, maybe when I say someone has a sense of humor, generally that implies they say things that can be perceived as humorous. He's right. I want to say as I again, he has no sense of humor. No, neither of them have any humor. She was going, No, no, I that's not. I this is not the right wording. I know. So I apologize in advance. Please don't take this out of context. But she was getting really, and I don't remember the context of the scene. But she was getting really overly emotional about something that I can't remember what it was, but this call that I think she whether it is over emotional or just reacting rationally or, or. But there's a difference between her expressing her opinions about the situation versus saying, Oh, this is humorous. She was she was maybe you can say she was attempting to be make light of the situation or act in a way that wasn't just straight up confrontational in that sense. But the call that humorous, I think is a stretch. It's a now there's been a bad episode. Yeah. Give me a second. I gotta get my phone. I mean, I think there's bits to keep. I think I'll keep some of that. Well, there's an hour and a half already. So I think oh, there's a lot. I No, I need to cut anyways. Anywho so let's wrap this up. Final thoughts, yani. Well, I gotta say, yeah. That we are. Yeah, it. Yeah. This movie is not going to change your expectations is not going to suck. If I'm a viewer, I this movie is probably going to fall in line with your expectations, as Giannis said. So, if it sounds like it's your cup of tea, it probably is. If it sounds like hot coffee on your lap, it probably is. I'd say that that's first of all Drunken Master to is called the legend of the Drunken Master. Second of all, that's on Netflix. So I know what you're talking about. Here's, I guess the best way to summarize that argument is my aunt. My aunt's favorite movie is SWAT star and Collin feral, and the main quote from that movie is, you're either SWAT or you're not and you know if you're SWAT or you're not, and I'm a SWAT guy. I'm a bad boys guy. Now all right. We're not done. I gotta give my final verdict. My my stars like the ideal. But I can rearrange things, but I'm not gonna I agree. Okay. Okay, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Bye. Good. Okay, the lead into the next movie. Anyways. So, if I had to give a rating for this movie, this movie, I need to stress this movie. I would give this movie four stars out of 10 for the cinematography, the acting, the acting was good too. But you know, I didn't care for the movie. I didn't care for the movie. So anyways, this has been so this has been fuck your opinion. Thank you for listening. Fuck you Yani. Have a great night, folks. Next week, we will be watching. The next week we'll be watching a film of my choosing the the 2001 Bollywood classic Kabhi Khushi kabhie. Also known affectionately as K three G. It is a film that in my opinion is the high point of many of those actors careers. I mean, you got Shahrukh at his peak, you got Riddick or Shawn you got a maneuver Rashad you got you got Yeah, you got a mitiga but Shawn, you got so many great i Kareena Kapoor is also and you got so many great actors and actresses. I'm forgetting cajole, you got it says so many wonderful actors put together in such a great film, and I just will the first time I know I cut a lot of this, the firt the first time I saw it, I absolutely loved it. I've only seen it once, so I cannot wait to revisit it. But you know what the best part of it is Yoni? It's three and a half hours long. And unlike unlike Cold War, it doesn't leave a single thing out and includes everything. There's no questions. Thank you for listening to you. Fuck your opinion. Fuck you, Johnny. Okay, cut
