I'll introduce you to award-winning public speaker, Alexa Rose Carlin, who originates out of Fort Lauderdale. She's overcome a LOT and has now built a legacy of empowering women through conferences, one of which I had the pleasure of being part of this past weekend. Then, my guest storyteller, Andrea Gonzmart Williams, represents the 5th generation of ownership of Florida's oldest restaurant--the Columbia. And, she is going to share the story of Casimiro Hernandez, Sr.--the 1st generation and founder of the Columbia--and his legacy. And, at the end, you'll get to hear a story from my life that relates to something else you've heard in the show. Now, this episode ends up being the perfect time for me to share the story that is probably the one I get asked to tell the most; however, it's also still the one that I don't think enough people know--the story of my lung.
