Trond's takeaway

The hydrogen economy is coming, it is not even a question of when, it is exactly how we will make it work in the coming decades that is the interesting part. The innovation is not so much in pure R&D as it is in coordinating the introduction of a new fuel source paradigm which would mean building hydrogen-driven planes, but also tweaking airport infrastructure to cater to hydrogen as a fuel source. The key will be to achieve modularity, to increase the efficiency with which cargo and fuel flows through the supply chain. These long-term shifts are not easy to see for politicians and asset owners, but will entail their buy-in.
