In episode 153 of the Futurized podcast, the topic is: The Rise of Empathy. Our guest is Sophie Wade, author and futurist in discussion with host Trond Arne Undheim (@trondau), futurist and author.

In this conversation, they talk about how the topic got of empathy got on the agenda again, key topics such as burnout, generations, new social contracts at work, hybrid work environment, we discuss empathy habits, team performance, organizational psychology, brain science, and what all of this means for the future of work.

Trond's takeaway

Empathy is one of those topics that rises to the agenda every now and then but probably deserves to always be discussed, given that the future of work is one where we will need to be highly attuned to both humans and machines, and might need to amp up our emotional repertoire and antennae to compete with both.
