Stepping Up for Our Neighbors: Fairview Partners with Foster Friends for Annual Shoe Drive

At the heart of Fairview lies a spirit of neighborliness and community support. This year, the Town of Fairview is proud to partner with Foster Friends, Foster Friends Logoa nonprofit dedicated to providing ordinary comforts for children in foster care in Collin County. Together, we are holding the annual shoe drive to help these children confidently step into the new school year.

A Community That Cares

In 2023, Foster Friends successfully provided shoes for 500 children in foster care. This year, we aim to help 600 children. This initiative is a testament to Fairview's commitment to supporting those in need and ensuring that every child in our community feels valued and prepared for the future. 

How You Can Help

We invite all Fairview residents to join us in this meaningful endeavor. Your donation of new, closed-toe shoes can make a significant difference in the life of a foster child. Donations can be dropped off at two convenient locations:

  • Town Hall: 372 Town Place
  • Fairview Fire Station 1: 510 S. State Highway 5

The shoe drive will run until July 8, giving us ample time to rally together and exceed our goal.
