From working for major exhibitions companies to being a social worker, probation officer to running her own marketing agency specializing in helping companies communicate to their perfect clients, Andrea has had a varied career.
Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and undergoing treatment she was unable to work. She used this time to write a novel and then a humorous book to help cancer patients cope with diagnosis and treatment. From this, alongside her collaborator, she started the humorous podcast called Get It Off Your Chest- the funny side of breast cancer. Its aim is to normalize the cancer experience and get people talking. From this she has created a community where laughter is seen as the best medicine.
