Jonathan is an early stage VC at Scrum Ventures in Silicon Valley who supports, empowers and invests in ambitious founders and globally focused startups helping to build smarter societies for a better future. At Scrum, he's focused on fast growing and tech-enabled services and products in consumer and industrial food tech, digital health and wellness, supply chain and logistics, B2B SaaS, productivity, future of work, AI and workflow automation.
Previously, he managed the award-winning THRIVE AgTech Accelerator at SVG Ventures. During his time leading THRIVE, they were recognized by AgFunder as the "Most Valuable Agrifood Tech Accelerator" in the world and achieved record-breaking numbers of applications, unparalleled global recognition, and yielded unprecedented levels of growth for THRIVE V. He also hosted/emceed the THRIVE Challenge pitch competitions on global stages such as the Forbes AgTech Summit, PMA Fresh Summit and South By South West (SXSW) to audiences of thousands of people.
