It's not about the precision of the shot, but the perspective of the player.
The seasoned golfers, they treat each miss with a wry smile. It's a near-miss, not a failure, and they certainly don't berate themselves for it.
On the flip side, the less experienced, especially the younger players, see every shot as a potential win. And when they miss, it feels like a blow.
But, isn't the game much more than just hitting the bullseye?
